Nice room with most features comparable to other Hilton properties. There was no room coffee-tea equipment or microwave. There was a refrigerator ❤️. The room was clean except for the shower. At home I wipe it down daily. The soap and hard water residue along with the previous occupants dirty towels indicates the shower was not cleaned. The shower/tub was slippery and did not have any hand bars in the shower. There was one bar outside the shower by the door which cannot be reached while showering. The breakfast had no protein. There was two peach sweetens yogurt.

I know Spark is a new Hilton brand—they buy old or closed properties, give them a coat of paint, some IKEA furniture, and a low rate. I’m assuming the bad reviews are from the old hotel or during renovations, because my stay was nothing short of great. Clean, modern rooms, a super comfortable bed, and a clean bathroom. I’ll admit the bathroom is very small, but for one night, it’s manageable. The parking lot is huge, with tons of spots available. There isn’t much around—just a gas station and a McDonald’s—but the hotel is right off the ramp. I didn’t notice any loud road noise, though I imagine the back corner rooms might be noisy. Overall, I’m really liking the Spark brand: modern rooms, clean spaces, and very affordable.

There was no plastic or paper cup to drink water. No microwave. The hotel was very clean and probably newly renovated. But the basic amenities were absent and we were not informed during booking

Property is great for a reasonably-priced, clean, safe, nice place to lay your head on a long trip. Would like recycling receptacles so one can keep environmental impact to a minimum while traveling. Glad they had the pump shampoo in the shower to cut down on plastic.

Unimpressive facility
When I booked the stay the hotel was listed as The Inn at Abingdon. Arriving at the address provided the signage said Spark by Hilton. What? Was I in the wrong place? Check in was OK. The room was okay but there were no cups or glasses to get a drink of water. No coffee maker. Breakfast was spartan- dry cereal, bagels, yogurt. No hot food. Chipped enamel on the tub. For the price I was disappointed.

酒店回复: I understand the frustration on the name. It took several days, working with Hilton, to get the name changed. I can only imagine booking a room with Spark to find out it is The Inn at Abingdon. It would be very confusing. As far as breakfast, we serve what the brand mandates. It can be very disappointing when guests expect a hot breakfast and do not receive it. Again, I apologize for the issues.

Highly recommend this location. We were traveling due to unfortunate circumstances. Upon our late night arrival, the desk attendant, Lucretia, was a breath of fresh air. Carolina, whom I spoke to on the phone prior to our stay was also a tremendous help. Great place to stay when traveling with pets. Thank you to Lucretia, Carolina and Darren for all of your help.

Easy to get to just off the highway. Room furnishings minimal, rundown, bed hip high hard to get in and out of for 63 yr old. No worth the $150. just to spend the night.
When we drove around back can see it is under interior renovations so maybe in future place will be nicer.
Breakfast consisted of toast, bagel, muffin or yougart. Coffee was good.
Staff friendly/helpful.

As far as breakfast, we are handcuffed by what the brand requires. The brand consists of a bagel bar with yogurt. We do hope the brand changes the breakfast type in the future.

The rooms does not look like the pictures online. They made me pay 80 dollars more when i got there and tried to make us pay for our rooms again. Tried to say we booked but didnt pay. When i showed our reciepts they then said oh well u have to pay 80 dollars more. Then when we checked out i noticed they took 250 dollars off my bank card so i called them they tried to say we smoked in the room and funny thing non of us smoke.

酒店回复: I do apologize if the $80 was stated. That was made in error with a new employee. She had never checked in a virtual card. You did have (2) rooms for (2) nights. Hilton charges a $20 incidental fee per night per room. As for the $250 smoking charge, the room was in fact smoked in. It is still currently down trying to remove the smell.
