Quiet clean rooms, off the main road, easy access to entrance, plenty of parking, all at an affordable price. I would recommend this place.

Had to make an emergency trip to maryland. We stopped it was the best decision ever! The front desk lady was super nice. We were only there for a few hours but it was quiet the best sleep we had in a while. Will probably stay on my way back home

I was here for two nights and one it is very convenient to the Barter theater and great restaurants in Abington.

I do not recommend the Red Roof In. In Abingdon. The place was dirty. The towels were so old they were beige…not white. There were water stains on the ceilings and a wall that had sheetrock damage that was not repaired. The tub was just old with moldy caulking around it. Stay somewhere else.

I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. The experience was far below acceptable standards and raised serious concerns regarding cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service.
Upon entering the room, it was immediately clear that it had not been properly cleaned or maintained. Specifically:
There were cockroaches and socks under the bed, near the headboard, as well as substantial dirt and debris as well as what looked like cat litter, indicating a complete lack of thorough housekeeping.
The beds had hair all over them, and the dust covers were stained and covered in hair.
Pillowcases were visibly dirty, and the fridge was unclean.
There was dust throughout the room, suggesting it had not been cleaned in quite some time.
The ice machine was out of order, and no housekeeping service was provided during the stay.
To make matters worse, we were nearly double-charged for the room, which added unnecessary stress.
The customer service was unhelpful and dismissive, failing to address or resolve any of these issues.
If you would like photos of the cockroaches and condition near the beds and refrigerator, I will provide them along with a formal complaint.
This experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable for any guest, let alone for the price paid. I am requesting a full explanation of how such conditions were allowed, as well as a refund or appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and discomfort caused.

Could not recommend this hotel
The hotel was old and need of a major update. Beds were uncomfortable, furniture was old, desk chair had a rip and the floors felt dirty. Grounds in general were not maintained, stairs were rusty and in need of care. Not having a breakfast was a disappointment. Front desk person was friendly and knowledgeable

I've stayed there several times over the last few years, and the property is the same as it always has been. It is a very budget hotel. It's old and there are usually little problems , but nothing I couldn't live with for one night. What was different this time was that I was not given the kind of room that I reserved, and the desk clerk's comment on it was something to the order of, you have a bed you have a TV, you have a shower. What more do you need? Given some other problems over the years, I think that will count as the last straw and I will stay elsewhere when in Abingdon.
