Our room was clean and comfortable. Other amenities were nice. Breakfast was not good. Eggs, sausage and fried potatoes were cold. Bagel was old a hard.

I have stayed at the property across the street twice in inclement weather as I travel to New London for work. I have their rewards points however the option for Quality Inn appeared and was less expensive so I decided ti give them a try. Glad I did!

We came up for a hunting trip. There was no elevator and needed to carry gear and luggage up 2 flights of stairs. No soap in the shower, no shower soap, dirty hand prints on the shower walls, shampoo and curtain. No toilet paper stocked. It was nice they had breakfast ready for the hunters by 4:30-5:00 but it was all cold.

No handrails in the shower, hair dryer very hard to plug in, our key cards were useless in the morning as if the staff had already checked us out, breakfast items that were suppose to be hot, lukewarm, cold items -warm, bakery stale.

No cleaning of the room during our 3 night stay. Couldn't understand the front desk person during check-in. No receipt!!!!! Entry door at side of building never locked, though it said it was locked 24 hours!! Uncomfortable beds. We have stayed here every year for 3 years, just keeps getting worse. Not planning on staying here next year!!

Shower was hard to turn on and off. The shower head had many holes plugged up. Shower head dripped most of the night. There was some black mold on the top of the bathtub. Light around the sink mirror was inadequate and made it difficult to shave and apply make up. There was a dime size hole in the bed sheet.
Refuse cans at the front and rear entrance/exit were full and over flowing.

Our room had a terrible smell that lingered our entire stay even with the purchase of Febreze and baking soda. When we used the pullout couch there was a pair of dirty socks along with crumbs. The sheets had holes and were very worn. I would not recommend staying at this hotel for any reason.
