We were disappointed to find that the hot tub was not working properly (and was rather worn looking as well). When we told the hotel employee the jets were not working and even showed him the tub, he told us that’s how it was supposed to be. Um…no. The jets were literally not working. Our room also smelled like cigarettes, even though the hotel is supposed to be non-smoking. The free breakfast was very good.

Best on the road hotel we have stayed in for awhile. Clean updated room. Nice area with lots of quick food options. This was a better choice than some of the close to $300/night hotels we stayed in during our road trip. A pleasant surprise!

The room was very noisy. The window frame was bent and the glass not sealed so we heard the highway noise all night. Also the hot tub walls were dirty and there was a haie clump on the floor next to it. Not worth the couple dollars i saved over the hampton and fairfield.

Our room smelt like a cigarette even though it was non smoking looked at 2 rooms, when I opened the door for the bathroom the door knob fell off. Hair on shampoo dispenser and caked dry shampoo. At 0900 am when breakfast was ended no breakfast items left every food warmer was empty they never refilled it. Staff in morning did not care, not accommodating.

Great restaurant. Jalapenas. Really good food. Walkable.
We were looking forward to using the hot tub, but it was pretty dirty with clumps of hair floating. Hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Check in and staff were very pleasant.
We also had a barking dog for part of the evening.

Probably used to be a nice hotel…
The hotel looked nice upon driving up outside, check-in was weird as the gal at the desk was very hard to understand and not very friendly. Room looked nice and spacious when we entered the evening of check-in. Bed was comfortable and furnishings were nice. Once we had a chance to look a bit closer, it just was not clean. Our sink did not drain, which made it hard to brush teeth or wash hands. Corners in the bathroom were dirty, as if there was no detailed cleaning in quite some time. As we were leaving the room in the morning it was easier to see just how dirty the hallways, doors were. The ice machine had lots of dirt/deposits on the outside. Made me not so comfortable in using the ice from the machine. The worst was when we actually got down to the breakfast area. It was just straight up dirty. Floors, tables, chairs were dirty, and I don’t mean “it was a busy morning and we haven’t had a chance to wipe them down yet” kind of dirty, they looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The highchairs were just caked with old food. We got some sausage and eggs from the hot bar and realized once we sat down that they were barely lukewarm. Ironically, the refrigerator with milk and yogurt, etc., was warm. It’s unfortunate because it looked like at one point it was probably a really nice hotel, it’s obviously just been severely neglected. Disappointing for a hotel that displays the La Quinta branding.

Room had smears of stuff on walls and hair in bathroom and tub. Got in at almost midnight so slept and left. Staff was friendly.

I completed my online check-in, and when I got to the hotel, I basically had to do all the check-in process again. When I arrived, the elevator did not work. They could do more with there breakfast. Ice machine on the third floor did not work. The room was OK but the air conditioner cover and lid was all cracked.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The soap in the shower was empty but otherwise a nice place.
