I've stayed at that hotel for the past three years on business trips and family gatherings. My first time staying it was outstanding but lately since the renovation it has fell through the cracks. The beds are hard and the hot water takes five minutes to get hot. Only one elevator worked during this stay.

The installation of an entire new front elevator has been scheduled, and while we anticipated the project would already be complete, we experienced unforeseen setbacks with the installation company. We expect the commencement of this work shortly.

When I arrived, the front desk advisor was very rude argumentative I believe her name was Lori. She told me over the phone that I can do early check-in. When I arrive. She said I never said that to you when we got into the room the room had an infestation of ladybugs all over the wall. There was dead bugs on the computer desk. The bathroom was filthy. The elevators were nasty. One of the elevators were broken and working, so you have to use another elevator another entryway. The elevator had a piece of tape over floor four button. There was mold inside the elevator, and it looked like it was not cleaned in a long time. The sheets on the bed were nasty. The floor was not vacuumed.

Room was clean. The hotel was quiet for a college town and a night game. Staff was polite and friendly.

Was charged almost $770/night because it was a game weekend and other than getting clean towels once zero house keeping was provided

beds are extremely comfortable and rooms are clean but def in need of updating. always love my stays here though. breakfast was great w lots of options. front elevator is never in service. but all in all i always love my stays in clemson! a short walk to downtown.

Room was good…. VERY comfy pillows! Comfortable bed. Room was clean. Breakfast was a typical Comfort Inn breakfast. The “hostess” on Monday AM was beyond rude. I understand it closed at 9:30 but literally taking things away at 9:29 as you were reaching for them. How hard was it to let me take the peanut butter and jelly to put on my already toasted bread? And muttering in a different language under her breath- Just unnecessary. Other than that…it was what you would expect. I’ll take cleanliness over rude so it was a win.

This hotel had many 5 star reviews but I disagree and think it's close to Clemson which was helpful but otherwise would not stay here again

Great place!!
Great place to stay! Will definitely be back! No odd smells, comfy bed & omg the comforter was so poofy!! The breakfast was ok for free. The waffles are great. The staff was friendly! All of them! Highly recommend!! (Just a travel tip for you… get a collapsible wagon! No fighting w the luggage cart & no returning it!)

Not enough lighting in the room. AC was ok, but had to keep adjusting, Shower had a small lip, so any water was running over onto the floor. Elevator on 1st floor broken and ice machines only on floors 2 and 3. Water tower was available, however, it wasn't cold and was only there at night.
