I checked in on 9/15/25 @ 3:20pm and everything appeared clean as usual. I had no food in the room and around 6:15pm I saw a roach climbing the wall and killed it and then went to bathroom around 2:15am and found another roach in bathtub and killed it, so I didn’t sleep much the rest of the night, and I NEVER keep food or anything to attract bugs in my room. Then from Tuesday to Wednesday night I saw 2 more roaches and killed them. Every time I killed one I called front desk to be moved and being left on hold more than 10 minutes each time I hung up. I didn’t sleep well the entire visit worrying about roaches crawling on me or possibly in my mouth as I snore, and the entire reason for me staying there was online conferences Tuesday & Wednesday and my WiFi continued to shut down on me and I’d have to reconnect to ZOOM for critical meetings I was attending online.
I’ve stayed there before and it has been perfect before this visit but I couldn’t wait to get home this time because I got no sleep and WiFi cutouts have made me rethink reserving a room for a visit I was planning next month in October to stay at this LaQuinta Inn in Walker, LA. I was going to start staying there every couple months due to my online conferences but starting to rethink staying somewhere else. Just thought you should know it was a horrible no rest stay.

When I was leaving, I saw why the property is always so clean and carefully manicured. There were several people just "doing their jobs" --- the lawn guy blowing off the grounds, the manager cleaning the window seals, the (who I think is the owner) cleaning the rooms.

I have been staying at this hotel for many years cause I am from there and every time I go home to visit this is where I pick to stay. The service gets better and better every time I go these ladies and all the staff are awesome.

For the first time EVER, the upstairs neighbors kept me up. I stay here often and have NEVER had this issue. This isn't something the hotel could fix unless I had them change my rooms, which I'm sure they would gladly do. These people are truly customer friendly and try to help if there is ever an issue

淋浴时浴缸排水不畅。床垫上的床单污渍难看得令人作呕。窗户打不开,根本无法呼吸新鲜空气。早餐不怎么样,电视上的WiFi也连不上Netflix。第一次也是最后一次入住拉昆塔酒店。优点是:床很舒服,空调/风扇运转良好,周边环境便利,停车免费!物有所值。
