Room was clean, comfortable bed provided restful sleep. Toilet lid was missing corner. Walls are thin. Breakfast room was small with three tables. Biscuits and gravy was the only warm option. No eggs (not even cold hard boiled ones in fridge), potatoes, etc. Waffle maker. Parking was limited. What I didn’t like was manager calling earlier in the day to make sure we were keeping reservation. Overpriced stay IMO but expected with homecoming festivities at nearby Mizzou and family day at Truman State.

Booked through ******* and they requested a $100 hold for an incidental hold….. we thought it was strange because we’ve never had to place a card on file when we’ve stayed with them in the past. That $100 hold turned into a $100 charge. When called they said I’d get it back in 7-10 days. If money is something that’s tight DON’T STAY HERE.

The room we stayed in was small but very clean! Bed was comfortable, ac kept the room cool, the bathroom was extremely small but clean, with the sink just outside the bathroom door in the room. I actually like that set up though! The room had a large recliner in it that was soft and really worn but comfortable. There was a night stand on one side of the bed only but it worked for us. Overall, nice room, clean, quiet, cool, comfortable and had everything we needed. The room was small, 1 king size bed, and would be crowded with children. For 2 adults it was fine. Price was good, online reservation process was easy and check-in was quick and easy. Small breakfast area off the office but we didn't use it. I would stay here again.

The staff member behind the desk was rude with every interaction. The rooms were dirty and smelled terrible. When reported, the staff member sprayed air freshener and left instead of addressing the problem. Visible mold on the carpet, piles of dirt along baseboards and behind doors. I had itchy little bumps on my legs after the first night, which I assume are bed bug bites. Overall, a miserable stay.

The staff called 6 times starting at 7:30am asking when I would be there. Sorry I didn’t run my plans for the day past them first. I’ve already called corporate due to the staff being rude and the bathroom being disgusting. None of my group will stay here again.

The room was small but decent. The bed was comfortable. Walking to the room there was a strong smell of cleanser. The room, thankful didnt smell of it. The breakfast seemed average, but in a small space. Their juice dispenser was out of order. The options were minimal. There were also gallon jugs of milk in the cooler instead of individual small cartons.
I think what surprised me the most was the $100 deposit for "incidentals." Its a Super 8, in a smaller town. I mean... not a nicer hotel with an open snack shop where you can charge stuff to your room. I understand that it is refunded. However, it seemed rather pointless.
