Wonderful staff. Obviously the property is in difficult times with signs everywhere indicating that various items were not working or no longer offered. And being next to the Police Station certainly is of value to the hotel in that lonely place.

The young man at the front desk … very personable and helpful. The 1st room we checked in had a toilet that would not flush. He quickly moved us to a similar room and met us at the room to help us move our luggage. He went above and beyond. Thank you!

We have stayed at this property multiple annually for EKU homecoming, the previous 2 years we stayed else where. Decided to come back to this property this year. Looks like the rooms have been let go, roaches, no breakfast, tub was dirty, staff was not friendly. And the drama on across the hall was ridiculous throughout the night, and staff did NOTHING about it. Sad to see this property decline. It’s always been a favorite location. To top it off when I checked out, FOUR employees behind the counter not one acknowledged my presence.

The chlorine was stinking up the entire hotel. So we didnt even try it the one night we stayed. I had booked an entire week. We let the staff know we wanted our money back black mold in the shower bed hard as a rock. I will never go there again id rather camp out
