Would like a refund. You advertised pictures of water slides and they have been removed. False advertising. Would not have stayed here otherwise. Disappointed to say the least.

Not the cleanest hotel…dust in the headboards, left over soap residue in the shower. Snag in carpet. ******* pictures showed big waterslides, there weren’t any. Just okay.

The property, building, pool and rooms could use some major updating. The building felt like it needed a toothbrush scrubbing in all the corners. The view was phenomenal and the breakfast was nice. The staff were friendly and efficient.

The sink was partially stopped and backed up every time we washed our hands. Discovered the multi-use hotel conditioner bottle was empty during the middle of my shower. There was no sheer inner curtain on the window like most hotel rooms have so that you can let light in without people seeing in your room from outside. Only blackout curtain or open glass. Nice outdoors on the lake, but some of it- like the gazebo is a little unkept and trash sitting near back doors and looked like people were partying the night before and left things kinda messy.
Otherwise beds were comfy and we slept well. Enjoyed sitting down by the lake in the morning. Good, hot breakfast and the women who takes care of guests, cleaning dining area and filling food supply at breakfast on the weekend was doing awesome at that. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The room and the property were very clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and informative. There is plenty of parking. The view of Superior is always amazing. We would stay here again.

America Matters So Let's Show That It Does
It is a hidden gem with exceptional staff. They are doing their best to stay afloat like too many places are. The building is aged yet they do their best with what they can. The necessity of fresh linens and towels. The renovation of their breakfast area was a hidden gem with still fresh waffle toppings, resl whipped cresm and homemade biscuits & gravy! Staff are keeping the area top-notch.

We stayed at this hotel September 2025. Immediately after walking in to our room, there was a bad musty oder. We turned the air on and that seemed to help at bit. After arriving back from dinner, it was cold so we turned the heat on low and the smell was horrible. Terrible nights sleep. Early the next morning we asked to be moved. The man at the front desk was so kind and got us a different room right away. The hotel is very old and could use some updating. Would not stay there again!
