Nice and clean for the most part. The breakfast was decent. Staff was very nice. Unfortunately our bathroom door wouldnt close and the TV in the bedroom didn't work.

I looked at 6 rooms before finding one that was the least moldy and musty smelling. Noisy with traffic and the nearby trains. Furniture was dirty and room not every clean.

The room was nice, quiet, clean, and was exactly as I’d hoped. Lovely night of sleep. The staff were helpful and made checking in and out easy.

The first issue when I got to the hotel was that ******* had not forwarded my reservation to the hotel. I booked it approximately 3 PM the day of and I got to the hotel at 10:30 PM and they had no record of my paid reservation. The manager on duty overnight was great and he knew how to look it up and input it into his system and he upgraded me to a suite for the inconvenience however, the housekeeping service services for this suite weren’t the best as there was a garbage can still full of garbage so he immediately moved me to a different room. Now I know why there are earplugs in all the rooms, the room was very noisy as it faced the parking lot the breakfast buffet this morning was typical of a hotel and I did have a waffle and sausages, which were good. For the price I would go back and just request a room, not facing the parking lot.

2.5 star hotel rather than 3. Indoor pool had issues and was closed without notice. That was one reason i chose this hotel for my daughter's Kings dominion birthday with friends, so our first half day there was just spent watching movies and vegging. Mold problem in rooms. The air conditioner intake outside is covered with mold and moss. The smell and spores is pulled in through the vents and the coils inside are coated. They wipe the machines front off, but you can see and smell it. The windows curtain bottoms are even stained with mold. There were white liquid stains along the bottom of the brown bed skirt closest to the window. The breakfast was little better than continental. Both days of our stay we had the same problems. the microwave scambled eggs were over salted and the syrup was always empty. No regular tea either, just decaf. No sugar, just splenda and diabetic sugar. You cant take your breakfast to the room. They make you sit and eat in the overcrowed dining area even though there are fridges and microwave in the bedrooms and you can order pizza in. Rude breakfast lady never wanted to restock anything and make loud sighs at you if you asked her to do something like wipe a table or restock. She had a tip jar on top of the trash can that was always empty. If she is made to work for tips at a place that breakfast is free and people dont carry cash anymore, how is that fair employee compensation. Walking distance from Kings dominion made it worth it though.

I honestly would appreciate a refund if able. Terrible service and had to wait at the front desk for over 30 minute. The tv didn’t work in our room nor did the phone. We also were told it was a heated pool but it wasn’t. The room wasn’t cleaned and still had old dirty towels in the room.

Ck in was pleasant and efficient although ridged on timimg. No attendant in breakfast. Gnats in bread cabinet. Rooms were fairly clean but could use some attention in grout areas and ceilings dirty.
