Staff was friendly, room was clean, however, bathroom tub faucet appeared to have black mold around where faucet attached to the wall.
I felt that the establishment needed some serious renovations

More protein options at breakfast, the folding thing for my suitcase, and since there's room a recliner would have been great. Hotel was clean and economical.

Room was clean, only staff we saw was the owner was the owner who was accommodating. Parking was adequate, laundry we did not use but washer was noisy as our room was next to it.

This is the only place to stay basically between Minneapolis and Rochester, Minnesota. I’m here on a Saturday night and every hotel I checked on wanted hundreds of dollars which is crazy for a night stay.
I chose this place because of the decent prices. I paid $79 which it’s probably about $20 too much for this motel. There’s no bathrooms in the lobby, my room, which is on the second floor, no elevator, looked pretty good. Hard floors, nice TV and looks like a clean bathroom. Upon a little bit more inspecting, I found that the lock on the door is broken, the shower rod curtain has been recently resecured to the wall, and I noticed the pillows are disgusting. There’s stains on several of them, the other two pillows are plastic, like a hospital pillow. No good. This place definitely needs more maintenance and some upgrades like new pillows!
There is a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room, the bed is firm, but being being a seasoned traveler I wouldn’t stay here again.

Parking was available but multiple places where kids toys were scattered around. Never saw any staff. Not much available for breakfast in fact when I got orange juice out of the dispenser I also got several fruit flies in my cup that had been around the nozzle.

Our stay was nice. The room was clean, the staff super friendly and helpful. There was something on the bedspread, I took it down to the front desk, she appologized and got me a different one. When I got back it was on that one as well. I took it back, we decided it had to be something that got in the wash because they'd been washed and looked the same. the last one had it as well, but we just didn't use. We didn't need it. Everything else was fine.
Nothing fancey but meets the needs and was a great price.

Zipping around Zumbrota
You can tell that the building is a bit old, but it is scrupulously clean. The staff is friendly and more helpful than I expected. We arrived in the middle of the night, but had no problem checking in.
The location feels safe even though a bit remote from town and a really good restaurant, The Covered Bridge, is just across the parking lot. It was a great base of operations for visiting family in the area, taking in some shows at the ******, and touring the town.
