When I got to the breakfast at 9AM the only fruit available was a single orange. Other than that it appeared that the people who went down prior to me were able to enjoy more pre fences in breakfast choices.

Upon arrival, we didn’t expect to be asked to pay $2.00 per guest at check in to use *******. The $150 per night room had no coffee maker, microwave, or mini fridge. The ******* listing does not warn guests these basic amenities aren’t offered at the $150 room rate. The shower water temperature was warm, not hot. The evening shift front desk staff listened but offered nothing when we explained all of this. We will plan to avoid the Wyndham Microtel hotel chain in the future.

So I wore a Google review and they lied in their response- YOUR RESPONSE IS A LIE..WE ASKED TO HAVE OUR ROOM SWITCHED AND SHE SAID THERE WAS NOTHING AVAILABLE; WE DID NOT DECLINE A ROOM SWITCH- YOU STATED BELOW THAT THE ROOM SHE OFFERED US DID NOT INVLUDE A REFRIDGERATOR AND MICROWAVE.. THIS IS A LIE WE WERE NOT OFFERED A DIFFERENT ROOM. SO NOW I WILL JUST GO TO CORPORATE.
We (the room was booked under my fiancé Justin Williams) were really disappointed with our stay. There were no smoking signs everywhere, but our room smelled strongly of cigarettes as soon as we walked in. We asked to switch rooms, but the front desk told us all the rooms smell that way because of the smoking area down the hall outside the door (which was 5 rooms from our room). However, the hallway itself didn’t smell at all — only our bedroom did. It was really unpleasant and definitely not what we expected since we have stayed at this hotel in the past and did not have this experience. It was uncomfortable and not what we paid for.
Because of the odor, we couldn’t enjoy our stay and it’s disappointing that the hotel advertises as non-smoking but allows rooms to smell this way. I believe a refund or credit would be appropriate under these circumstances, especially since we paid for late checkout and ended up just leaving early because we couldn’t take it anymore.
