First the good - the staff at the Grand is wonderful. Friendly and helpful with great attitudes.

Now the bad - my second floor king river view room was extremely outdated. It had a musty smell, the bathroom door would not close due to an uneven floor, and the toilet seat was loose.

The room had a large jacuzzi in the main area of the bedroom, not as part of the bathroom. Weird, but that didn’t cause me to lower my rating.

The breakfast was served cafeteria style with limited options. No oatmeal, waffles or anything like that that you see at even Hampton Inn type hotels.

All-in-all, I cannot recommend the Grand, even though the staff was wonderful

The room was neat; however, it needed dusting badly. I reported that one of the bathroom light bulbs was out, and the room safe did not work; neither was addressed. Besides that, everyone was friendly

Pleasant hotel. Efficient wait staff. Great location. Bathroom shower fixtures had some issues. Front desk staff wrote down my comments regarding shower fixtures.
