Was pleasantly surprised with Howard Johnson. Really great value for the price. Very comfy bed and pillows. Really good night sleep. Super hot shower. Room was very clean. They did a good job on renovating the rooms. Highly recommend for the price. Breakfast was pretty ordinary but good enough.

This is a very nicely maintained property that reflects it's recent renovation. Despite my room being near the office, it was very quiet. It was also clean and comfortable. The grounds are well lit at night, and access to nearby businesses is within 1 mile on sidewalks with protected crossings. This was a very nice stay.

Everything was fine. Price was the determining factor. If I wasn’t traveling alone I probably would have opted for something fresher.

The room was slapped together with dirty tape holding signs on the door. There were stains in the bathroom and on the outside and inside of the entryway door. The room smelled musty like water damage in the room. When I asked for an extra blanket the front desk woman said, "I don't know if we have any." I asked her to check anyway. She came back with a thin cover, basically like a curtain. Not coz ,y at all. When I turned on the t.v. it had fuzzy pictures. When I called to reception to let them know there was no helpful response. I checked under the sheets to look at the mattress, and felt something crunchy on it as well as black dotted stains. I would have stayed somewhere else but it was already past 9 at night and I was exhausted from driving over 8 hours and had just been arranging his memorial service. Mentally and physically exhausted and did not feel taken care of at this hotel at all.

The room was clean but had a few issues. One of the electrical outlets was missing a cover and there was a thin layer of dust on the headbard and lamp on nightstand as well as the shelf in sink area. The breakfast had minimal vatiety and the coffee was water. Most disappointing was that the pool was closed and there was no notice to inform us prior to check-in. Overall, the quality equalled the cost and was worth it for an overnight stay.
