The room was clean and fresh! Comfortable, Front lobby is beautiful. Staff was great! Breakfast was very good. Parking lot and area is super safe!! I've stayed at this Hotel 2 times now for a total about about 8 days. Would definitely come back!!!

We arrived at the hotel at around noon. We were told that no one could check in until at least 2PM. There are always some rooms available for early check in and all we wanted was for a place to put our luggage before going out for whole afternoon. This could have easily been accomplished but the clerk was not going to help us. He was also fairly rude to us. How about a policy that attempts to work with your customers instead of just a flat no.

My apologies you were unable to check in at noon but we did have very high occupancy the evening prior and our double queen rooms are always the first to sell. Weekends are very busy and guests typically do not check out early on Saturday mornings so we need to wait for them to do so. The housekeeping staff also has to tend to the in house guests as well which is quite a task when we are full. It takes quite awhile to clean all the rooms for the next guests and depending on the room type booked (we have 8 different kinds) was the reason we were not able to get you in until 2pm which would still be an early check-in. I assure you we always try and accommodate our guests as it makes everyone's job easier if we can spread out the check-ins. I am sorry you felt the front desk attendant to be rude and I will be having a conversation with the agent in question.I hope you understand that it is not as simple as it appears to be to get guests checked-in early and know that we do everything we can to make sure our guests are happy.Sincerely,Chris OppasserGeneral Manager

This is always my choice when staying in the Chicago area. It's close to many different areas, the location is clean, safe and quiet. The staff is always polite and friendly.

Our 3-night stay was perfectly fine; but as a guest in a wheelchair, I’d like to offer 3 improvement suggestions: 1) lower beds for easier access for people who can’t easily stand up.
2) the bathroom sink should be lowered to an ADA standard, with a tilted mirror
3) the floating towel shelf in the bathroom is lowered, which I understand, but because of that, I hit my head on the corner of the unit twice getting on/off the toile

We do put 4 pillows on the bed and extras in the closet in the case a guest does prefer a larger pillow but I do feel larger pillows could be more effective. I am however sorry the hallway smelled of smoke and was dirty. We are coming off of two weekends of outdoor concerts and one night it rained. Guests returned at 1am wet and covered with mud. we are still today trying to clean up the mess not only in the common areas but in rooms as well. It is also unfortunate that some guests felt it was ok to smoke in their rooms. They were charged a hefty penalty as it is not only unpleasant but we have to put the rooms out of order and miss out on revenue for those rooms.
