For the most part the room was clean. The only isuue was a leaky fauset in the bath tub which was creating a problem for the hotel. I notified them after my stay. They appretiated thevfeed back. All was good.

Older Arizona Couple Staying Overnight

Just stayed overnight on our way up north. The person at the front next desk was very helpful and delightful. She gave us excellent suggestions what to do today while driving along Lake Michigan.

Room was average for hall noise. Did quiet down relatively early.

Room was very musty and bathroom had an odor I can’t describe. Smells like cat urine. I am quite sure it was a strong pine cleaner that was used. I ran the exhaust fan the entire stay and my asthma handled it fine.

Breakfast was nice with full offerings.

Front staff was prompt and helpful.

I did not complain about my room. Sold out everywhere in town.

No elevator??? Are you kidding me? Is that even legal? I’m 71 years old, and suddenly I’m hauling two suitcases, up 2 flights of stairs, that weigh over 50 lbs each…. Totally F’d up.

It was ok. Building is quite old, and nothing inviting to guests on the outside of the building. Doesn’t have a comfortable feeling. However, the room accommodations were satisfactory.

I made a reservation and paid through *******, but when I arrived, the front desk clerk demanded that I leave a $100 cash deposit. This isn’t mentioned anywhere in the booking. My wife had $80 on her, which they accepted. When we checked out, they insisted on inspecting the room before returning it. They did indeed return the money, but I felt like I was being treated like a criminal upon walking in the door and I don’t think the property should be allowed to remain on ******* without disclosing this policy. I’ve never felt so unwelcomed at a hotel. Absolutely terrible policy and awful customer service. I will never return under any circumstances. There are plenty of other hotels in town.
