We travel with 2 dogs and this property is a perfect place to stay. It has nice green space for walking and good room sizes. The breakfast was good and the staff were very nice.

The executive suite was fabulous! Having a full size fridge and so much space was so nice. Breakfast was hot and lots of options. We've staye dhere several.times and never had a bad experience.

Overall, a pretty nice hotel for the price.
Pros - Pool is nice, breakfast was good, room layout is very nice (especially if you have kiddos!), night time staff member Tracy was amazing (our kid was briefly sick in the middle of the night and she helped us a LOT with new supplies, gloves, sheets, etc.).
Cons - Ice machine on our floor was broke but the biggest frustration was the housekeeping situation. Our kid was sick in the middle of the night and we had changed out the sheets and bagged up all of the mess but still needed the room cleaned, garbage taken out and supplies restocked.
The first day, we left at 10a. I stopped at the front desk before we left and asked that everything in our room be turned over. They said, yes with the sick kid, we have notes, which made me feel they new we needed a cleaning. We got back at 2p and nothing had been done. The front desk said we had the DND sign on (which we didn't anymore, my kiddo put it on the bathroom door before we left because she thought it would be funny).
We confirmed for the next day. We left at 8a and got back at 2 and it hadn't been done. The staff was still there and stopped by our room around 3-330 and we asked for a moment because we were finishing getting changed for the pool (as in 2 minutes - kid was going to the bathroom). We asked for towels and a change of sheets. They didn't come back. We were there for a funeral and already stressed out - adding this on top was just really disappointing.

Forget The Chain Hotels and Stay Here!
I was a bit hesitant to book here as it is not a known chain, but the reviews convinced me and I am so happy that I did. The entryway was decorated and very inviting, the staff was kind, the gift bag at checkin was a nice touch, my kiddo loved the pool, our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast and dining area was not super flashy, but had all the staples you'd expect for the price. Our family would definitely stay here again if staying in Marinette!

When I booked this hotel it said it was 18 miles from Door County. It actually was almost 2 hours away!
