Impressed with the cleanliness as soon as we walked in the lobby to check in. Room extremely clean and far enough off the main highway to be extremely quiet. One of the best showers in a hotel room I have ever had! Very fair price as well! Complementary breakfast was fantastic also!

We rolled into Brunswick GA needing a place to flop. I walked right in, consulted a booking website and paid for lodging for 1 night. The young man in charge in this moment was very nice. He assigned me a room on the top floor which is what I asked for. Before I could get settled, I had to inspect the facilities from a functional viewpoint. And I discovered the toilet in my room already backed up, and still not cooperating. So, I took a return trip down to the desk, explained our predicament and was handed a plunger, the legendary "plumbers helper", in a do- it yourself situation, apparently. So I did it myself. This is all the whole truth, I swear. I almost forgot about the $100 dollar CASH security deposit required to use the room. I am not the first person to be surprised by this condition once inside the lobby, I found out. Who carries cash in this amount? Go to a bank or 🏧 at 6.00pm? Actually the next day when I was checking out, the nice girl on duty took the time to go up and inspect my room for damage, before returning my hundred bucks. I'm serious. By the way, I returned the toilet plunger in person to this girl who made a funny face when I handed it to her. For some reason. Now about breakfast. Cold, stone uncooked cold omelet and sausage. What was I supposed to do, go for a spin in the microwave? And I got to breakfast just right after serving time, about 620am. So weird. This place is run by people who don't know how to run a hotel.

We arrived as always very tired and I was at first surprised with news from our reception person, Mark, with the news that the elevator was out and we were on the second floor. As I am pushing 80 I was feeling the challenge of climbing steps with luggage but he could not have been more friendly and accommodating and I am writing this from our beautiful FIRST floor room. The hotel is obviously undergoing renovations but I would hope that other travelers will recognize that that is always a necessity with hotels and also that the management of this hotel is doing all it can to make stays comfortable. They certainly have ours. Kudos to Mark. Thank you.

I stopped at this hotel on the way down to the keys. The staff was very friendly, the beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. They do have a free breakfast and it's okay - nothing to write home about but decent enough given the fact that it's free. They have eggs, bacon, potatoes and the usual continental breakfast items. The lady in the breakfast area who does all the cooking ... she was absolutely charming and friendly. Didn't get her name but I hope someone at the hotel sees this and she gets recognition ... she totally deserves it.

Filthy!! Mold and mildew in bathroom. Bathroom smelled like urine . Room smelled terrible and the pillows smelled like perfume from a previous guest. a friend expressed a concern about the front door being propped open (security risk so close to the interstate) . She was told the door was broken and they will get it fixed next week. This place is on its last legs and should be shut down.

A public health hazard! The place is riddled with mold. How can this place even stay open? I checked in late at night and there were cockroaches running around my room and there was one swimming in the toilet. The whole place smelled like feet. Beware!

There was an overpowering smell of Fabuloso that killed my sinuses and eyes. The floors were uneven as if there had been improper repairs. The elevators were out of order. There was NO toilet paper when I arrived. The shampoo and conditioner were obviously not new. The phone wasn't connected (to call the front desk). One of the lamps flickered even after checking the bulb. But staff was great and friendly, and the location and breakfast were very convenient.
