Rolled up to see the hostess Jennifer smoking outside with some customers, so she reeked of cigarettes the entire time we were checking in. Then it took a very long time standing at the desk for her to GET us checked in while she complained to us (the customers) about her boss changing her password continually. Lobby was not horrible but dated. I picked this place because it looked nice on the pictures and looked like it had a good breakfast, but we didn't get to enjoy that. Room was on the third floor. The elevator looked like something from a surgery ward in a hospital with lights so bright I could've read a book with my eyes closed. Pool didn't look bad but we didn't get to enjoy that either. When we opened the room the smell of decade old cigarette smoke hit us straight away, and was all we could smell all night, even after bombing the room with an entire can of Lysol. The room was damp from humidity no matter what we set the AC at. Everything was dingy and smelly and soggy. The bathroom sink was cracked and caulked. My wife turned back the covers and immediately found some bugs crawling on the sheet. The carpet felt greasy from humidity and dinginess. When the door was shut and locked you could clearly see the hallway lights on all four sides. Generally not an enjoyable experience in any way. The night was miserable and damp so we decided to get up in the middle of the night and move on.

AC unit struggles to keep room cool enough & it was humid
Curtains don't stay closed ac unit blows them open which allows light in all night.

The room smelled of smoke … in a non smoking room , they were more than happy to try to help but still I wasn’t happy

Excellent hotel!
The beds were the most comfortable beds for a hotel that I have ever slept on. The sheets were super soft. It did t feel like I was sleeping on starched sandpaper. This is a great place to stay!

While I enjoyed the stay - my reservation through ******* processed my debit card before I checked in. The hotel then ran my card a second time, and I was charged a second time for the room. I still have a pending charge from the hotel after checking out.

Okay rooms, poor breakfast/coffee
Staff was friendly, rooms and common areas were clean and okay, but had some WiFi problems. The breakfast and coffee was extremely disappointing, not worth including as an amenity

The beds were way past the point of needing to be replaced. There was a cushy mattress topper added to the beds, but the beds were noticeably worn and disformed.
