Due to the extreme weather conditions at the time of my travel i decided to exit the interstate and acquire me a hotel room for the remaining of the evening. I decided upon this particular hotel. Reviews were mixed but I decided to give it a shot. As the saying goes you get what you pay for. Had I not paid on hotel.xo. site I would have immediately requested my payment back! The hotel receptionist area smelled awful upon entry. Check in was fine. There were people hanging out on the walk area near the doors smoking a variety of sorts. Upon e entry to the room I noticed the safety lock had been replaced a few times. The door had a 1 inch space at the top and the door ***** was missing from the locking side so you could see the outside through the space. The room itself was clean but the sheets had visible spots on them and here's the worst of all. The room smelled horrible of an odor I can't describe. It resembled that of some sort of urine. The odor was so unbearable I couldn't sleep. O tri s covering my head to reduce the smell but that didn't work. I needed rest and sleep badly so I could get back on the road and get home safely. I couldn't take the smell any longer so I got my things and left. I didn't even take a shower the smell was just that horrendous. I got in my car and the smell was in my clothes and on my skin. When I got home I went straight to the washer, washed everything took in there and took a shower. Just an awful stay/experience!

Book through ******* and then we are aware to keep a card on file until check out but desk clerk said we owed 89 for card to be on file and she would leave a message for morning staff for refund if it did charge to the card tried to explain to staff this morning and he said no I wasn’t charged not letting me explain the issue we had and in case if it hit our card on Monday processing how would we correct the issue if it did and he kept
Shutting me down by not letting me explain everything that night staff was suppose to leave him about what happen like he didn’t wanna hear it

The beds were not so comfortable. The outside noise made it hard for a good nights rest. A car alarm kept going off. I woke up with a stiff shoulder due to the bed.
I wasn’t a fan of this stay.

Seedy hotel
The place was run down. No safety lock on the door. A/C made loud noises. The room was not very clean and the pool was dirty.

Picturesque location, comfortable beds!
The location was really nice with the river directly adjacent to this property. I spent a fair amount of time outside soaking up the atmosphere. We didn't even know there was a pool there until we went romping around Vicksburg later in the day and came back to explore. It didn't look terrible, but could use a cleaning.
Ironically, Days Inn's seem to have the best beds we sleep on when doing cross country trips, even when trying more expensive options. The only real ding was not having a breakfast available the following morning, which has been a given in other Days Inn properties we've stayed in. Not even a pot of coffee. The rooms were clean but a little beat up. Not terrible again, but we took pictures of offending finish work and the bathrooms to make sure we weren't blamed, as there were lots of rough edges and a hole behind the door on arrival.

Older but great
This hotel was older. It’s still needs some renovation. The pool was down which is why we picked this hotel. The view was pretty. The staff is very friendly.
