The staff was very courteous. The location was convenient to walk to downtown, and the rooms were fine. However, a railroad track literally runs feet behind the motel, and train whistles blew three separate times throughout the middle of the night, making it impossible to get good sleep.

The room I stayed in had mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and all over the AC unit. Room was muggy/moist the whole week I was there. My room didn’t get serviced ONCE the whole week I was there either. No new towels, no toilet paper, no one took out the trash- THE BARE MINIMUM. I had to go to the lobby in a DIFFERENT building to request new towels, to which their response was “bring us the dirty ones”. After I did so, they told me to come back and pick up my towels later because they didn’t have any clean ones right now. The “clean” towels I received were dirty and had what looked like black tar on them. Not to mention the staff, who I assume to be the owners, were rude during every interaction. My room faced the train tracks, which made my windows rattle and bed shake at all hours of the night/day.

The room was clean but the toilet was literally falling apart. The flush handle was barely hanging on the tank had a lid that wasn't for that toilet. Every time you tried to sit on the cheap toilet seat it would close you had to literally hold it open in order to sit down. The cable didn't work properly the box kept going in and out. I just needed a place to sleep my grandmother was in ICU close to the motel.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Bed not the best but not the worst but being woke up at 1:30 am and 6 am by a train shaking the whole room and that loud horn I could have done without. Again you get what you pay for.

Rooms have been painted and updated flooring but no by a respectful contractor. Paint on the floor, drips and runs with paint even on the new counter tops. Just sloppy in the att Er mot to do an upgrade. Breakfast is juice, biscuits and gravy with several cereal choices and waffles. Good coffee with creamers.

Location is great. If the owner would simply put a little money into updating, this hotel would be great. I don’t mind spending a little more to have a nice clean and comfortable room.
You can quickly tell they are trying to go as cheap as possible, there wasn’t even toilet paper in the bathroom, had to walk to the office to get it. Staff is not very friendly, don’t seem happy to be there.
