The property overall looked nice and updated, especially the outside area and lobby, which gave a good first impression. However, the room we stayed in was disappointing. There was a strange, old smell as soon as we walked in, the carpet had an off odor, and the bed sheets had visible stains. The bathroom showed signs of rust and didn’t seem as clean as expected. On top of that, the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash containers were not refilled.

Lobby area was not tidy nor did it have a working tv. Coffee in the morning was hard to get due to attention. Carpet in hallways was unkept and dirty. Beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. Outside was dirty as well as the pavilion/ bbq area.

They had work in progress during our stay that closed off part of the parking lot. We were unaware that this would be going on during our stay -- we would have reconsidered our stay if we had known. Also we would have expected to pay less considering the inconvenience, but the rate was higher than we had paid before. The bed pillows were flimsy and the air conditioner was quite loud. The TV had limited channels, but the desk staff was able to reset it when we asked about it. Their listing also said there was a hot tub in the pool area -- there was not.

House cleaning didnt really clean throughly and restock items. There was no more soap in the shower caddy and there were 5 beers left in the little refrigerator and I had a minor child with me. This was not a good representation of the hotel and stafff.
