Internet problems, man passed out in dining room
Ok stay. Was kind of creeped out regarding an aa male passed out in dining room while trying to enjoy breakfast. Staff seemed to not mind but not appropriate for a nice hotel. Internet connectivity terrible. Was told to enter room number and last name which only brought up screen to book another stay with Marriot Bonvoy. Spent 30 minutes trying to get on line so went to desk and was told I needed a code which they had failed to give me. Obviously they knew of this problem but failed to address it.
Disappointing to say the least.

We got put in a room that was on a list of “do not assign” to. Key wouldn’t work. Went to front desk and then the worker realized she assigned us one of those rooms.
Got to another room, carpet was dirty, bathroom floor was filthy, door latch would not lock, and the beds had lipstick and other dirty spots all over them.

Check your room before unpacking.
Fairfield Hotels are normally super clean. This hotel has decided that they will turn off the AC units when not occupied. Unfortunately in Mississippi in June, the humidity is too high. The AC would have kept the room humidity low and the mildew smell would have been prevented.

The best part of our stay was being greeted by the friendliest hotel staff i seen in awhile. Jamari was the front desk person, he had our room key ready to go and gave us clear instructions on where the room was. Our room was conveniently located by the elevator. It was a little warm in the hallway but being greeted by such a friendly staff person and feeling welcomed made this short stay much more comfortable. Room and bathroom size is great. Breakfast was good and coffee tasted good.

It was just what we needed, nothing special about the property. Just what you would expect out of a hotel. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. The only “complaint” that I would have is the lighting for the mirror was terrible. Overall nice property. I would book this property again.

The house keeping was not good. They did not clean our room. We were there 4 days. The only thing they did was pick up the dirty towels and then did not give us anymore. We had to call the front desk for more towels. The inside pool was not open
