It’s in a safe area with a Vons, bank, and restaurants all within walking distance. Easy on and off the freeway. Very quiet.

My new go to Motel 6. The room was clean, the employees were really nice and the location was perfect. We even got extra pillows!

The staff came to our rescue in so many ways. She quickly checked us in and with a smile. Thereby, we were able to be early for our event that day. Enjoyed our room. Even though we were close to the Freeway on ramp, the sound did not interrupt our time spent in and around the room. A lovely house keeping woman noticed we needed assistance. She quickly had the maintenance department gentleman come to our aide. So nice all the way around..

I ready enjoyed my stay here, my room was very nice and my bed was very comfortable. I stay here for 6 nights and enjoyed everything, also great convenience for eating, grocery and shopping. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. I will be coming to stay here.

The room was clean and quiet, but the hotel seemed seedy and I wish I had known that I was supposed to bring my own shampoo.

Needs to be Updated
Room was only acceptable. The drape over window wasn’t properly hung. The closet cabinet wasn’t properly repaired and part of the trim was loose from the cabinet. The room smells like it had been smoked in and needs to be refreshed. Bottom of entrance door didn’t seal shut.
Bathroom wasn't in good shape. Metal shelf above sink wasn’t clean, when I picked up the washcloth, the shelf under the cloth wasn’t wiped clean. Also, the shelf wasn’t secure to wall and will soon break off. The shelf was incredibly small and was the only space to hold toothbrush and paste and maybe a hair brush. I didn’t use the shower over tub as the floor of the tub looked grimy, I didn’t want to step into it, the tub needs to be replaced. The bathroom floor needs to be properly mopped.
Unfortunately, I won’t stay at this Motel 6 again. I must say other Motel 6 locations I’ve stayed in were excellent compared to the Simi Valley location. Based on this review and the condition of m room, the entire location needs to be properly updated

Great that they have a pool. But it should open at 0730 so guests can swim before breakfast. Thanks
