I had back surgery on June 2nd, but I was determined to attend my high school class reunion on June 21 and 22. I booked a two night stay at Travelodge in Lima, requesting a handicap accessible room on first floor. I got it, but then cancelledabout 10 minutes later when I found something I thought I would like better. However, I discovered the second hotel was not located where I thought it was, so within another 10 minutes, I rebooked for the Travelodge. I requested first floor again. When I arrived, I discovered my room was on second floor ( NO ELEVATOR) and once I got to the top of the stairs, my rom was clear at the opther end of the hall. I made several trips up and down the stairs in sheer agony because of my back. Manager claimed everything on ground floor was taken........Well, I booked it 4 weeks in advance, and this wasn't a high class motel, so I hardly doubt it filled up in the 20 minute window from the first time I booked....to the second! Upon sitting down on the bed, I noticed it was damp. Apparently they had sprayed disenfectant all over the place. My throat started burning within 5 minutes of being in the room. The manager spoke no English, nor did they understand much. I got more help from the AMERICAN who manned the desk. It was obvious the manager is greedy and just in it for the money. The railings on the stairway were detached from the wall, so they were deemed useless. The lighting was very dim, with one light bulb missing altogether, from a lamp where the socket was just hanging from it. The TV was useless..... couldn't get a station..... I pulled back the bedding and found a black ribbon in between the sheets...... Gross! I went to get juice from their machine in the morning, and discovered after Covid hit, the manager said "No More Breakfast" and shut it down for good. Honestly, the whole motel should be shut down! One thing for usre... they will NEVER EVER get my business again.

One thing after another….
I booked and paid to reserve a smoking room. Upon check in I was told that there were not any smoking rooms available. I opted to stay in a non-smoking room. I then was told that I had to pay a $20 cash deposit. I had no cash so had to find an ATM in the area that wouldn’t charge me $5, to use it. That don’t happen. So in short I don’t really save any money by booking online. The room was $10 cheaper but with the deposit, I ended up paying $17 more for it including the ATM fees.
Once we got to the room the television didn’t work. We called the front desk and they sent a man to the room. He couldn’t figure it out. After the next shift arrived we called again. The man that came to the room, was upfront with us. Told us that this was the first time he had heard that the tv didn’t work. No communication throughout staff. Then we weren’t even able to switch rooms, bowler did they offer us any compensation for the broken TV.

Upon checking in, the staff was friendly which helped ease my mind at first. When we arrived into the hallway, I noticed a heavy smell, I thought it would disappear once we got into the room, it didn't. Entering the room, the smell wasn't awful, but wasn't welcoming, either. The first thing I noticed were the pillows put on our beds. All of them were stained, and none of them had pillow cases. Traveling to the windowsill, there were dead flies left . The curtains also had holes in them. Our lamp and fridge became unplugged twice during our stay because the cord would fall out of the outlets. The beds were also just...stiff. I was also unimpressed with the lighting, it made the room look dingy, as well as spiderwebs all around the ceilings. I know I used my points for this stay so it was essentially free, but I just wasn't impressed in the slightest.

My stomach (gallbladder) flaired up on our way home from boston mass. I always love staying with the Wyndham brand hotels. I was very upset/disappointed. The Black MOLD was abbressive to say it politely. I had to take a hot shower immediately to relax my stomach spasms. I had to wait several minutes for attendee to check me in. I then had to wait even longer to get into room because key card wouldn't work. My boyfriend went to front desk to reset key card. Still didn't work so a guy who i can only assumed work for the hotel came to assist. After several attempts to get key card to workto open the DOOR and the pure discomfort i was displaying from My gallbladder he rushed to fix it. Several minutes later he came back with a carx that finally worked. The bed was hard, pillows flat, the mold in that bathroom is unsettling. I know for the price i wasnt expecting anything fancy but i stayed at the super 8 by Wyndham days before for the same price and i had no complaints!

This hotel doesn’t have a lobby it’s closed all time treadmill in hallway, outside door B won’t shut for safety, plumbing exposed in bathroom, curtains won’t shut all way light comes through at night staff unfriendly rush you out last day here
