The hotel was cheaper than many others, but even so I expect a base level of service that just didn't exist here.
When I first walked into my room it smelled like someone had just eaten a fast food meal in the room. Not at all pleasant.
The bathroom did not have any towels, so I had to get some from the front desk. Also, the shower was lukewarm at best, so the shower was not very enjoyable. There was hot water coming to the room as the sink worked fine, but not the shower.
A number of floor boards were loose and made a loud cracking noise when I stepped on them. Fortunately, I was traveling alone, but it was enough to wake someone up. Who knows what the floor below me heard.
After a quick look at the limited breakfast I left and went somewhere else.
Positives: the bed was comfortable and the heat worked.
I would look elsewhere next time.

We had to be switched two times in order to finally be placed into a nice room but the fridge and smoke detector both still did not work. The staff was kind at first until they basically accused us of lying stating that there was nothing wrong with the original room. The manager was only willing to give us money back if we left the hotel a day early, but we could not find another hotel last minute.

The chair and hassock in the room were filthy--black with grease or something. I didn't want to touch it or put anything on it, let alone sit in it. Also, there were black, greasy smudges on the bathroom door. When the bathroom in the room on the floor above was used, the pipes were very loud and sounded like a train coming through. Bed was comfortable, though, and staff were friendly.

The staff was very nice, but our room was very dirty and had an oder. The bed and pillows were comfortable though.

Place was quiet, we were on the third floor, so nobody above us. Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was not so great, very cramped, and around tub was bad. Could use some healthy choices for breakfast. All in all, not bad place to lay your head.

Good Location, Great Deal, Excellent Staff, Above Average in all regards. Stayed here to stay away from the overpriced, overcrowded, fare for the Ohio State Football game at Illinois.

I have stayed here numerous times over the years, and never been grossed out by the dirtiness of the room. There was a build up of something disgusting behind the bathroom faucet. It looked like someone had taken a sledgehammer to the bathroom. It appears fixtures were removed possibly, without any thought in trying to remove them without damage.
