Most hospitable staff, very welcoming from the minute I walked in. The pool is clean and can accommodate plenty of people. Rooms are a great size and so is the fridge/freezer

This motel looked like something out of a horror movie. The images online depict a fair representation of the room itself, but nothing about everything you’ll see and smell in the interim. After checking in at the front desk I was told that my room was upstairs, and the clerk pointed to an indoor staircase in the distance. I always thought that motel rooms were only accessible from the outside, so I went back outside to my car to retrieve my bags. When I came back in, I started to really notice my surroundings. The dark common area between the front desk and staircase had loose dogs, piles and piles of luggage stacked high against the wall, and a gathering of individuals who appeared to be homeless. As I made my way toward the two-level, heavily soiled brown carpeted staircase, I could see another questionable group of people congregating outside the back door. As I made my way up the filthy staircase to an eerily lit second floor hallway, my heart began to race. I felt terrified. I wanted to turn around and leave immediately, but thought I would at least give my room a chance. When I opened the door, I was hit in the face with an overpowering air freshener smell, like it was masking a previous smoking room or a foul stench. The chemical smell was so thick I could barely catch my breath. I literally ran back to the front desk. I was shaking. When I told the young lady how uncomfortable I felt being there and shared the reasons why, she argued with me. She had a rebuttal for every single concern. She eventually got a room key and went upstairs. When she came back down she said, “the room is clean”. I told her that I did not feel safe staying there, that the place gave me the creeps, and that there was no possible way I could sleep in a room that smelled like that. She told me that I could either stay in the room that I had paid for, or I could leave. But I would not be getting my money back… because the room was “clean”. So, if you are a single woman traveling alone such as I was, or are looking for a safe place to stay with your family, DON’T PICK THIS ONE.

As soon as we walked in the room the smell of cigarette smoke hit us. It honestly smelled like a poker game had been going on in our room for the previous week. I was going to ask for another room but my partner said once we turn on the A/C it should smell better. It didn't but it was near midnight by then. The smokey smell remained throughout the night. $105 a night

Upon arrival, ********* smell throughout the motel. The room...what looks to be red wine stains on the bath tub and light valances. Gobs of bodily love juice on the floor dried up and never cleaned. Blood stains on the sheets. Dirty carpet in the hallways. Dirt room floors. Communial kureig in the lobby only. Front desk attendant (younger guy) stoned and non functional. Best Western down the road is awesome clean and friendly.

cockroaches!! I took my stepmother to stay here for one night before she had to return to Florida after we had taken my father's remains to California where he's from. The room looked okay until the COCKROACHS arrived! The general manager lied and said "we don't have cockroachs" but on their website others have left reviews about cockroachs too.

Wish I could give 0 statrs. Disgusting hotel. Mouse poop found in bed. Bathtub/shower filthy. Brought complaints to staff and was told,"You already used the room." My family left in less than 2 hours. Management refuses to refund my stay.
