Room was clean, bathroom setup could be more user friendly like a shelf by the sink, and drywall was separating from shower enclosure. 2nd time staying here seemed the 1st time my room was in better shape. Over all a very pleasant stay.

The pillows were lumpy and there was an issue with our neighbors fighting with the owner at 2am over having 3 people to a 2 person bedroom. Other then this the stay was great.

This property came a long way. I stayed at this property over 15 years ago and it was a dump. The new management with all the renovations turned this hotel into an outstanding stay. Room was very cleaned, staff was very helpful even providing us an additional blanket at night. Great stay.

In short: this is an older facility, so it's essentially in a 40 year old style. The lighting was subpar. The bathroom functioned OK but was very small with extremely limited shelving. The facility is overpriced, but probably in line with a beach resort area. The HVAC was blowing constantly, the OFF switch doesn't work, and the cold air continuing on body parts was beyond annoying.
To be fair, the room was reasonably clean. We had no interaction with the staff except for check in and check out. The pool was pretty good. The location is excellent, but I doubt we'll stay here the next time we come to the area. We were somewhat disappointed; apparently it used to be better.

Quiet spot a little away from the coast
We needed a spot to stay for a week day night after a full day at the beach. It was a littler further from the coast than others, but that might have helped with it being a quiet nice spot to sleep for the night. There were some small breakfast options and plenty of parking. A solid spot far enough away from the craziness, but close enough to get to.

I liked the feeling of safety and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower were sufficient. It would be convenient to have laundry facilities and a microwave, but neither were available. Still and all it was just what I needed; a place to rest between my two fishing trips.

This is my second time here. The rooms are well-equipped and clean; those nearer the office and away from the road tend to have less traffic noise, although some is present throughout the property. This, however, is offset by the extreme convenience and fantastic location in the affluent town of Sea Girt. I am here for an event in downtown Sea Girt and find the rooms quite acceptable if you can handle Spartan rather than plush. Good value.
