at first glance the motel looks nice but once you start settling in you start to notice how dirty it is. the restroom was very dirty, the sheets were stained, and every counter top was dirty. Overall for you get what you pay for.

Beware of booking online with this guy. He WILL take advantage of you however he possibly can- double charge; place you in a room with mold churning through the A/C knowing you have an allergy/intolerance for that; he is not a man of his word, he will steal your money and commit fraud to do it.
Doesn't matter how careful you are hes all about leaching every penny he can out of you, even if you request a particular room he will tell you it's available one min and 2 minutes later tell you its rented as he laughs and says "its nonrefundable."
The young man that is there some mornings is great and i found his wife to be kind and helpful.

On staff friendliness 4 stars
The staff was extremely nice. The first unit i was placed in was in the downstairs corner. Tv was laying on bed, drawers were broken not very clean. Was the relocated to 2nd floor corner it was ok except the tv didnt work it wanted me to log in to my Samsung account to use the tv. I didn't feel comfortable with the wifi not being secure.

Good short stay
Crown Motel is a pretty average place to stay. It’s nothing fancy, but it gets the job done if you’re just looking for somewhere affordable. The rooms are basic and could use a little updating, but they’re clean enough for a short stay. The location is convenient, and the price is definitely one of the better things about it. Overall, it’s not the best motel out there, but if you’re on a budget and need something simple, it works.Big heads up before check in request staff to turn AC on, it does take a while to freshen up but once up room is nice and cool

The staff went out of their wy to accommodate me. They switched my upstairs room to downstairs. The tv wasn't working, a new one was brought in. The soundproof room was perfect. My only concern was the ceiling above the shower needed a touchup after what appeared to be an old leak.

Have stayed here several times for the dove season in the Imperial valley. All the staff are friendly and cheerful. The dove cleaning station is great, the main reason I keep coming back. Thank you!
