Staff was friendly, but they had some issues. For example, no one was usually at the front lobby; I had to wait or go look for someone. The floor of the room must have been very dirty because we noticed our bare feet were dirty after walking on it. The bathroom had several sloppy repairs done which they attempted to hide with paint. Nothing was a deal-killer, but be prepared to get what you pay for.

One light switch controlled all lights. No way to just turn on one light. Had to be all or nothing. Shoer/tub adjustment did not work. Toilet would run for hours if you did not jiggle the handle. It was clean. Just in much need of repairs.

The property is old. Very run down. We just stopped to sleep for a few hours so we were not that picky. There is a Wendy’s nearby along with a gas station. If we were staying for a few days we would have moved on to a better hotel.

I ran out of toilet paper while on the toilet & there was no spare roll. When we tried to call the front desk the phone was not working. My boyfriend went up to the front desk to ask for toilet paper & the desk clerk gave him an attitude. When we were dressed & ready to go we found out that my mother in the room next to us had NO toilet paper at all… so back to the front desk to let them know & to request some money back & the clerk threw a hissy fit. The manager who was there only to get a cup of coffee because it was her day off, told us that because we stayed the whole night she would not give us any money back. Very poor customer service.

The room was clean, but had a few minor flaws. The light switch by the door turned on and off all the lights, including the ones by the bed, which are usually on separate circuits so they can be turned on or off without getting out of bed. The toilet required two flushes to be successful. The handles on the bathtub water valves were extremely stiff and difficult to turn. There were no bars of soap in the room, although the desk clerk got some later in the evening. The breakfast room was out of milk, butter and cream cheese. There were fresh apples, but small ones. It was a reasonable place for overnight during a trip, and the staff was very friendly, but it's not the Ritz. I plan to be back for another overnight.
