This was the perfect stay for the value, free breakfast which was very good. Eggs, sausage, breads and sweets along with fresh waffles and yogurt. I liked that it stared at 5am since I had an early event. There is a nice private patio area if you are a smoker and a pool for a dip. No frills just the perfect business getaway.

Stayed here one (1) night before selecting another hotel for remainder of stay.
Check in was fine.
The room was nothing special but OK. The bed was not very comfortable.
At breakfast the next morning (12th June) some of the offerings were out at 0720. When I and another guest asked if they could be replenished, the lady working the hotel main desk was as about as rude as can be. She suggested that we go to other nearby restaurants if we want to have any breakfast. Then she reluctantly and with a poor attitude proceeded to put some more food items out.

Best Western Morgan City Inn has all new Serta beds as of November 2024, The morning of breakfast of which you speak, only you had asked for eggs as the other guest sat quietly. The manager went into the kitchen and mentioned night audit had egg omelets as the eggs that morning. Then you stated yes but there are no more, so then the manager went into the kitchen to replace what was not in the chaffing dishes. While doing so you continued to be rude and make comments such as this is all the breakfast they serve (while waving your hands)-not a big selection. In response to your many rude comments, yes, the manager stated we serve more than the minimum Best Western requires but we do have other restaurants around--Shoney's, McDonalds and such that you are more than welcome to go and enjoy. You then stated to the guest sitting-Can you believe she said that? Then the manager responded something like, well this is a full breakfast without charge so there is that. The manager continued interacting with guests coming into breakfast without the attitude you are speaking of. We appreciate all of our guests and accommodate fully where we can, as you can see on our high overall satisfaction score. We hope that you have the day you deserve and a joyful week. Management

The management and hospitality at this hotel was exceptional, and I will book this hotel in the future over all other hotels in Morgan City! My stay here was comfortable and delightful.

This property is not an 8 Star property and my room was definitely not a 10 star room. There was nothing special about this place. The floors were not level and the tub was not level. The toilet paper was so far away from the toilet, I couldn’t reach it.
