I fell asleep with cpap cracked plastic…and survived and woke up early, refreshed and hit the road…left 2 days early and got a refund…!!!…😃….a lot more peaceful than Lafayette LA…with triple the traffic…shocked…New Iberia was further away with new road construction….glad I picked Abbeville…!!!…

The room I stayed in smelled a little funky, and the TV had 2 large black lines, so I couldn’t watch TV. I did notify manager before I left.

The HOTEL caught fire. Folks are required to stay in the MOTEL area. Even though clean and the Management & Staff are truly GREAT,,, the Motel is quite old and we will not return until the HOTEL is open. Management said they are going SLOW, but hope by end of July 2025.

The room was very clean and i was very happy with it. I wasnt aware that there was a fire there in Oct. I was expecting a pool, laundry room and an ice machine. My granddaughter was playing in a softball tournament and we especially needed the laundry room and ice machine. I think that there shiuld have been a temporary note added to the Motel 6 (Abbeville, LA) website stating that those amenities ARE NOT AVAILABLE at this time. Even though I was happy, i was expecting those amenities and paid for them before i knew those weren't available. I have to also mention, that the hotels in the area were booked and I had booked the rooms at Motel 6 weeks in advance due to the favorable amenities. I was very disappointed when i asked about the ice maker the next morning and found out that it was not working due to the fire in Oct. Then the laundry room was damaged during the fire. I wasn't able to wash uniforms, put ice in her drink cooler or let her have a dip in the pool. Had I known that those amenities were not available, i wouldn't have stayed there. Sort of like false advertisement.

I booked 2 non-smoking rooms, but when I arrived they told me they had nothing but smoking rooms left.
