Got a king suite, had all the amenities except: no fan in the bathroom. The oscillating fan in the bedroom was a nice touch. Got a basket with dog treats, water dish, pet towel and poop bags on check in. Easy code locking door. Was quiet location with tons of parking. Close to all the shops and sights. The couches were a little uncomfortable and felt cheap, but it was fine for one day.

We had plenty of room for 2 adults & 2 kids. The room was nicely painted with pretty colors. (See pictures of 2 bedroom suite with kitchen on website.) It was conveniently located to shopping/activities. Beds (nice sheets/lots of pillows/good mattress) were comfortable.There are no closets to hang clothes. Heat pump disconnected/wall heater ok except in cold bedroom. Extra blanket was provided when asked. MOLD along top of bedroom wall. Showerhead was amazing.. MOLD around the top edge in 2 large places.Top of frig had sand on it and cabinets had crumbs from previous renter. Microwave frame was broken; microwave worked fine. When reporting it to management, I asked if roof was leaking. She said "No, ALL houses (including her own), have MOLD due to the wet climate at the beach". (Not true, in our experiences at this motel or others in the area.) She neither offered another unit or any other solutions.

This is a very nice place to stay and huge room. Daniel, the front desk clerk extremely nice and friendly. The restaurant he suggested was very good and patio seating . Town was nice to walk through.

Friendly, helpful staff; super clean rooms; comfortable bed; room has everything you will need; terrific downtown location- you can literally walk to the entire main area including the beach from the hotel. No complaints at all. Would stay here again!

They said …either pay another $243 or get out. This is at 10pm after checking in at 3:45pm, visiting friends, and returning to Coastal I&S for the evening. I booked the room on 8-18-2022 for Sat 9-3 after calling 15 hotels in Long Beach & Astoria over two days through 360-940-0490 which is a Frank Hotels property Inn At The Sea. When we couldn’t get back in our room at 9:30 pm I called the front desk which is two blocks away from the C I&S property. They said I booked 9-2 not 9-3 through *******. That we have to pay another $243 or leave. We went to the front desk. They continued to lie to us. I had to walk away I was so angry. Merri paid them the second $243. We stayed the night having paid twice for possible fraud? I know how to place a day of the week with its corresponding day of the month. Coastal I & S does not, and they materially misrepresent. Why do they do that? Is it intentional? A scam? How often do they do it? No regulation/statute enforcement? I called my bank. They’re investigating while they have given me back $243. We’ve had bad experiences through third party booking. That’s why I only book airfare through Kayak, nothing else.

And yes Kayak is an affiliate of *******, this was in no way a scam or any intentional wrong doing on our behalf and no one lied to you about anything as I was here that evening you were very rude and disrespectful to my staff for a mistake in dates that you had made not us.

We have stayed in many different rooms in this Inn as we visit Long Beach often. Extra clean, comphy beds and pillows, very spacious rooms great attention to every detail. The king one bedroom is our home away from home. Office staff very helpful and friendly.

We stayed for almost a week. Our room was like a small apartment with a stove and a full-size fridge. The beds are comfortable. The pillows are nice, but I had brought my own. I never did find a luggage rack, but I made it work. They do have a decent wi-fi. The room was clean. The staff brought us an extra fan and extra towels. Everyone was friendly. The property is quite impressive, not far off the beach. Most of the time, we could park our rental car right out front of our room. We can't wait for our next trip.
