No restaurant, bar as advertised .Was told that just because it shows it on the web doesn't mean that they have one. Tried to cancel on the first day and told that it was too late to cancel even for the second day. I really hope that I am contacted by the main office as I want to explain everything that I experienced. I am still in shock!!I have never given a bad review in my life until now. Please have somebody contact me and I can send video and photos of what I learned of the RED LION in Kelso Washington.

There was dried urine on the toilet. And the shower head didn’t work. Tub didn’t drain. Also pretty gross. No hot coffee in the morning.

Unknowledgeable staff that could care less. The night person couldnt answer any of my questions and wasnt even trying to attempt to find the answer either. They had no blankets, internet was slow, tvs are ancient and dont work or have basic controllers, rooms smelled, shower water smelled like sewer water. Disappointing to say the least.

First non-smoking room we were booked into smelled of cigarette smoke; changed room OK. Fabric armchair needs much cleaning. Wooden furniture needs some Old English applied. No clock in the room. One wastebasket in the bathroom, nothing in main room. Breakfast didn't look very appetizing so skipped it and ate out. Building in back needs maintenance and painting, yard overgrown and junky. Bathroom sink clogged. Used to be a nice place, allowed to get rundown.over the years.

Staff were friendly but condition of property and rooms was unsatisfactory. I paid extra for insurance so hoping to get my money back since the manager didn’t respond back to my concerns.

Mold in the bathroom. There is an odor in the room. I slept on towels on top the bed. Vents covered by plastic. Staff doesn’t care about my concerns. Breakfast looks inedible. I only had coffee. I won't book here again.

Overall the room is spacious and quite comfortable bed. Standard of housekeeping is questionable as there were obvious fecal stains in the toilet. Fitted sheet was put on inside out.

The hotel was sorely understaffed. The staff I did encounter, housekeeping and front desk/breakfast area were working hard and doing their best, but the poor front desk worked on Sunday was also literally cooking the eggs for the breakfast area and was expected to answer the phones and handle customer check outs and check ins. Not fair to her or the customers.
