Cockroaches!
We found baby cockroaches in our sink and had a dead cockroach on a table in our room. We looked all over our room for more. We took a video of the sink and brought the dead cockroach down to the front desk and talked to Haydin who was working when we checked in. She was wonderful, apologetic, and tried to put us in a new room, but she said they were fully booked. We were in town for a soccer tournament and most of the team was staying at the Hampton. We tried calling there to get a different room, but they were fully booked too. We tried a few other places, but everyone was booked because of the busy weekend. Haydin was really nice and helpful, and told us to let her know if we had any other problems. Every time we came back to our room, we were checking for cockroaches and my 12 year old daughter was scared to sleep in the room. Overall, the help was wonderful, but we were disgusted with finding cockroaches in our room!

Room was clean, hot tub was hot. Parking lot is small and hotel is right off the busy road in point…..but otherwise a very nice stay.

Price was great. Breakfast was subpar. Everything else was mid. VERY clean. Needs a refresh. I’d stay there again for the price.

One night in Stevens Point
I just stayed one night, but I learned right away checking in. The staff was friendly and the room was nice and clean.

Bathroom need more attention in shower and toilet. Breakfast cold and ran out of items. Price reflex the stay. Affordable if these items don’t bother you.

We reserved this room because if it’s affordability. However, when we entered the room it was quite evident that someone had been seated on the bed, the bathroom light was on, and the toilet seat was up in the “male usage” position. There was a variety of dead bugs on the window sill, and at night there were bugs crawling all over the bathroom floor. The fitted sheet did not stay in place and I had to get up several times to fit it back over the mattress.
The coffee was so weak as to look like the color of tea and the breakfast included eggs but nothing to go alongside but biscuits and gravy, which is not something that most people choose.
I have stayed at La Quinta hotels before and been satisfied, so I can only chalk this up to the Stevens Point, Wisconsin facility.

Hotel in poor condition. Was surprised as it had a good rating. Room was clean, but dingy. Public areas not very clean. Looks like some maintenance was being done (light panels off, wires exposed).
Very sparse breakfast.

No regular coffee in room. Coffee that was finally available in lobby at 5:30 am was as weak as tea. The plastic utensils provided for breakfast were an absolute joke. Small and so incredibly flimsy. Sized for a young child
