Denied my service animal, charged me $20 a night even with proof of service records. Also shower clogged and the washer to the laundry mat left clothes literally soaken wet.

You get what you pay for and for what we paid for, this place was overpriced. If you only need a place to sleep and then move on then this will have to do. Way too expensive and skip the included breakfast entirely!

Hotel served its purpose. We had business about half an hour away so were not there much but it was clean, nice staff, safe.

Although some of the aspects of the room, such as the TV had been updated, channel selections were quite limited.
Also, the door frame had a substantial gap against the door as there was a gap on the lower left side that was over 1", enough for insects or small rodents to enter.
The staff was accommodating.

The recent stay at Days Inn by Wyndham Emporia was quite disappointing. The assigned room (July 7-8) had a noticeable musty odor. The air conditioning unit struggled to cool the space, even on its highest setting. Additionally the carpet was very old. We were very itchy in the morning. There may be bed bugs! One large dead roach was found by the air conditioner unit. The bathroom door would not close and the door knob was loose. The hotel staff was generally polite, but the overall amenities and room quality didn't justify the price paid. On the positive side, the hotel's location is excellent, to stop and rest before continuing the drive down to the south. However, the condition of the room significantly impacted the ability to enjoy the stay. It is hoped that the hotel considers addressing these concerns to improve the guest experience.
