Beautiful hotel- very clean and room was perfect! There is a pet fee $25 per night which I’m not used to paying but I am grateful the dogs can stay, so hey I guess it is what it is

Room smelled of smoke and there was pet hair on the furniture
The elevator was broken for part of the stay, so we had to lug our suitcases up the stairs. Staff was friendly and gave us a room on the 2nd floor instead of 3rd.

Plenty of parking. Great customer service in the evening. We felt very at home. The free breakfast was really good. The beds were comfortable and we got all of extra supplies (toilet paper, towels, and trash).

The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable.
The only drawback was the elevator was out and our room was on the second floor and I am recovering from knee surgery. The clerk was very apologetic (not her fault) and offered a different hotel but we were tired and ready to call it a night!
Breakfast wasn't the greatest, but our server was very attentive and was constantly checking on the food and guests.

This hotel is an excellent choice! It was clean, comfortable, the room was spacious and in excellently furnished. The staff was very polite and professional, and the amenities are exceptional. The only flaw was the elevator...it was functional, but not smooth, and was a bit unnerving. I mentioned it to the desk clerk, and she said that the elevator company had ordered a part to repair it. We come to Shawnee several times a year, and always try to stay at the La Quinta. It is our hotel of choice!

The room was still being cleaned when we arrived (415pm). There was an issue with doors not accepting our cards (2x) but the issue was quickly resolved by the front desk. Breakfast was good, and it's close to everything. The sign to follow is for another hotel and there's no sign for LaQuinta so the location is a bit confusing but you figure it out. The town is also pretty easy to navigate.

Horrible Smell
Room smelled terrible, like an old moldy pumpkin. Doorknob missing from closet. The room we reserved online was not the one we got.
