The hotel was extremely clean, and the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. Eggs, sausage, waffles. Many facilities do not offer such variety. The staff was friendly, courteous, and very accommodating.

The room itself and the king bed were acceptable. The location was good for what we needed. Breakfast was good but it could have used less carb heavy options. and was restocked frequently. There were no coffee makers in room and the coffee w/breakfast did not taste good. It was close to a lot of different places. The price was right so that's why we stayed here. We streamed tv here with no problem - wifi worked well. The pool was cold but hot tub was nice. When we had issues the front desk staff did not seem like they wanted to resolve issues. It was overall a decent stay for the one time we will ever be in Eagle River.

During check-in, the front desk worker did not say a word to me. I thought it was weird, but didn't think too much of it at the time. When I got to the room, it became clear that we were given a different room than was on my confirmation. I went back to the desk and explained the explained the discrepancy only to have him argue with me and tell me that I was wrong...even when I showed him proof. I asked him if I was stuck with the room, and he said "Yes". There was no sympathy or consideration for the obvious mistake. He was very dismissive and rude. During my shower that night, it became clear that they didn't do a very good job cleaning, and the tub did not drain properly...after that, the whole room just felt dirty to me. By the next morning, it also became clear that the fridge was not cooling. Unfortunately, it was the same worker at the front desk and I got more rudeness and no help. I had to throw out most of my food. When I asked for a manager, I was given a vague answer that he'll be in "sometime". The manager was never on site while we were there or when I tried calling while we were out and about. The person working while I was checking out (Kim) was pleasant, but was unable to help me.

Stayed Jan 31-Feb2nd Our room was absolutely disgusting. I paid for a room with a working hot tub. The hot tub did not work. The electrical panel for the hot tub was actually falling apart and shocked me when I tried to turn it on. It is extremely dangerous. I tried talking to the hotel operator but they did not speak english very well and the rest of the staff were also not english speaking. I dont speak spanish or hindi so I was unable to communicate to them how dangerous that hot tub is. There was no carpet in the main hallways. Our room was missing half of the trim. The area where there should be a place to hang shirts, coats, etc was missing. The microwave did not work. The TV literally fell off the wall. They had it mounted with a drywall screw and some washers! The heater controls and panel are broken so either the heat was on full blast or not at all. Several tiles around the hot tub were missing or falling off. The bathroom toilet ran all night long and is installed VERY crooked. The bed is sagged so bad in the middle we kept rolling into each other all night while we tried to sleep. The door lock does not work, The interior lever just rotates but the lock never comes out. We have pictures of everything. ROOM 122. I expect a full refund at a minimum. The place was disgusting and clearly run down and not what I expect from a Days INN. We ended up staying at a different hotel saturday night just so we could get some sleep as the noise was ridiculous from a mechanical room right around the corner that for whatever reason the hotel staff left the door open to all night while they ran laundry machines. Black mold everywhere around the hot tub!

The pictures online are inaccurate. I reserved the 1 bedroom suite with a separate living room for an extra price and pictures showed a living room and separated 1 bedroom. I do this so my toddlers are in the living room at an early bedtime (7:30pm/8pm) and the adults can watch TV in the bedroom until a normal bedtime. When we got in the room it was a king bed with a couch in the same standard room type. The hotel told me the pictures online are old but never compensated me the difference in cost. Also, FYI NO elevator!

Stayed here on 8/24/24. Paid for a room with a whirlpool tub. When filling the tub there was brown residue coming out and it smelled like sewer. Went to the front desk, it was late in the evening. No one was around. They have a contact number posted but no one answered that either. The following morning I went to the front desk, talked with them and showed pictures. They called the manager and we all went into the room so I could show them the brown residue and smell. Also showed the manager I had pictures. He agreed to give me a refund of $25. (Not much but I said I would take it). He told me I would receive it in 6-7 business days. NOTHING. I waited two weeks, Called back, and was told he’d was processing it and it would be another 5-7 days and I would get $50. It’s now been another two weeks and NOTHING. Very disappointed. Hate a leave a bad review places but also feel that potential customers should be aware. I never should have left until my credit was received that day.
