Apparently, this was Comfort Inn till very recently. Marriott refurbished and repainted it right over the dust and rust, hung branding attributes, and slammed a badly connected front desk computer equipment. The location is good, and the staff, although sparse, is trying hard, but it's not a Marriott yet, by a long shot. It was nicely decorated for Christmas, and there were literally just five or so rooms occupied on the night we stayed, but the whole experience, from the check-in through the check-out, was weird and uncomfortable. Let's hope the place will integrate into the brand better with time, but then, with more people staying, the badly designed common area will become cramped for check-in and breakfast.

Property suffices for a quick overnight stay. Old and run down. Just bought by Marriott, improvements are like lipstick on a pig, just covering up rather than actual remodel. Smells old and has a damp feeling. Clothes stunk and had to be washed just from being exposed to the smell in the room.

The hotel was under construction so the hall was pretty dirty. The noise wasn’t too bad and they offered to move us if it got too bad. The chair in the room was filthy but the rest of the hotel was clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Good & convenient place to stay
We used the hotel for a quick overnight stay on our way to North Carolina. The price was reasonable, and we had a large room with a comfortable bed. Use of the TV was baffling. It said YouTube was "not available", and it wasn't clear how to find channels to watch something. The breakfast buffet was good and the sitting area very nice.

Beware of billing issues. Beware of lack of management and proper training for staff.
I am still trying to get my bill fixed 3 days later and have yet to hear from an owner or manager after repeated calls.
Dont expect a call back either. Each time i called i was asked to call them back instead of proper customer service standards of having a manager or supervisor return my call.
Very very unprofessional.
Staff was left without training and it probably was the start of all the billing issues.
Dirty and rundown main areas - but it is a roadside hotel so dont expect much.

Breakfast was hot, choices to choose from, good. Enough parking. Clean accommodations. The a/c was a little loud in the room and one of the beds squeaked when laying down.

Front desk was very friendly. Well lit outdoors. Pool looked nice. Room was fine. Liked the solid flooring instead of carpet.

Great Value when using our rewards $$
Appears to be newer hotel. Therefore, appeared clean. Floors were noisy under our dogs toe nails. Good breakfast. Quick one night in and out. Convenient to roadways and nearby eateries
