My stay at the Motel 6 in Kingston was disappointing and unnecessarily complicated. When I arrived, it took quite a while for anyone to come to the front desk. I had booked a King non-smoking room through the My6 app, with my two dogs clearly disclosed in advance. I was told the room I reserved was not available and was placed in a double non-smoking room instead, which I was charged extra for, despite it being a downgrade from my original reservation. I was also charged additional pet deposits, even though my pets were already listed in the My6 system and I was asked again at check-in. Several extra charges were added with limited explanation, which made the process feel disorganized. Only after I mentioned leaving a review and contacting Motel 6 corporate did the tone change, discounts were applied, and the charges became clearer. The room itself had multiple maintenance issues. Neither the sink nor the bathtub had stoppers, which made it impossible to take a bath. The bathroom showed visible wear, including peeling paint on the tile. The overall appearance felt inexpensive, with cheap plastic hangers in the closet. Most concerning, the sheets and towels were yellowed, and I did not feel comfortable using them. I ended up sleeping in my sleeping bag on top of the bed instead. This stay could have been straightforward, but delays, room changes, added charges, and room condition issues made it a stressful experience.
非常干净,员工也很友好。
