The room itself was in okay condition. When you went into the bathroom there were some red stains on the wall that almost looked like blood. The toilet would leak from under the seal and there were a few times when we had to put toilet paper into the trash bin because the toilet wouldn’t flush/would clog easily. We were the ones who took our garbage out most of the time and had to ask for toilet paper because out of the whole time we were there our room was only cleaned maybe 3 times by the staff. There were cockroaches that I had to squash almost every night. We didn’t get a new microwave until halfway through our stay because it was broken and rusted on the inside. The WiFi only worked every other day if that. The mini fridge would either not keep things cold or our lunch meat ended up freezing and had to be thrown out. It also almost fell every time you opened the door.

It's perfect for what it is. We were warmly greeted by the front desk staff. We booked a manatee trip with Crystal River Watersports (awesome company, BTW - just steps away from the hotel) and the hotel graciously offered to extend our check-out until noon - so we could have a quick shower after our manatee experience.

Highly recommend the Days Inn/Crystal River Watersports combo.

Besides that the staff member that checked us in was professional, friendly and corrected a booking errror, I found the toilet height in Room 100 was actually able to accommodate an adult male with a disability.

Layout of hotel was strange. Recommend only accepting a first floor room. Coffee addatives were old. No coffee or any type of breakfast in lobby. Room as clean though.
