There is never a time we allow a room to be rented out when it is in that condition and we have followed up with the housekeeper and had maintenance go in and fix all of the items you mentioned. Staff was very nice and helpful. The only issue I had was that the front door of the room would not lock and there was damage to the wall in the bathroom. Overall the room was clean.

Staff, as always, are lovely. However, the room was a disappointment. Firstly, gnat type flies emerged from the sink drain each time the water was run in said sink. Secondly, the toilet did not want to flush; holding the handle down for a count of 15 was the minimum to achieve flush. The dresser cabinet handle was broken and dangling. One of the bedside table lamps flickered wildly. While the bathroom appeared to have been cleaned, there was a used bath towel and used wash cloth hanging over the shower curtain rod. Finally, the bed in the room was incredibly hard and uncomfortable. This was a stark difference from my previous experience. Breakfast was still good and, as previously stated, the staff is, truly, lovely.

It is shocking to me that this hotel has been rated as high as it is. There was something crusty and white on the bedskirt, the furniture was broken with handles hanging off, walls were marked up, stains on the carpet, curtain broken and hanging from bracket. Giving two stars for clean sheets, hot water, and the woman at the desk moved us to another room when I reported the state of the first room. Second room still had stains on the floor and walls were dirty. This stay for one night came to $125 with fees and I wouldn’t pay half that to stay at this place. Very disappointed.

Room was clean and in order. Great front desk staff. Polite, friendly and professional. Complimentary lobby coffee fresh and hot. Shuttle service right on time as requested. Eateries nearby within walking distance as well as major grocery and Walmart. Bathroom shower getting tired and can patch only so many times.

I’ve stayed here multiple times over the past 3 years and each time it seems to be in worse shape than before. During my entire 4 night stay, I had warm water during every shower. I told the front desk and she mentioned something with the boiler system vent and that it would be good in 10 minutes after she walks back to fix it. I got back that evening and no hot water again. My refrigerator didn’t have a freezer and it barely worked. The white towels were a little dingy looking so it made me think they weren’t washed after the last person. I inspected them thoroughly and it seemed like they were clean so I did use them. The drains were very slow! The shower would hold about 3” of water and take about 5 minutes after I was done to drain. The toilets flushed really slow as well. I realize this isn’t 5 star resort. I stay here because it’s a block away from family and usually decent for my average standards. A local told me that since new ownership, it’s gone downhill as they don’t put money back into the place. I’m not sure that’s true, but it does lineup with my experience. I’m going to consider staying at the nicer hotel across town from now on. I’m sure it’ll cost more, but it will be a nice place. If you’re just coming in for an evening and leaving early the next day, it’s worth the money. If you stay longer, go across town.

The hotel looked alot nicer on the app than in person. Nothing bad but nothing great either. Probably wouldn't stay there again with all the other options

Very moderate hotel. Dated, worn in places. Carpet needs replacing. Furniture worn, curtains were ripped and broken- in both rooms- and we moved from one to another the second night to try and get a quieter spot. Needs an overhaul for sure. Loud door slamming and you can hear people above you. We stayed here because it’s convenient to our son’s place, but i don't think we will do so again. It’s just not that nice.
Woman at desk accommodated our desire to live but was also somewhat argument which was unnecessary.betas wasn’t overly friendly. It all could be much better.

Location was good and breakfast was good. I All the carpets needed cleaned. I wanted a pet free room and they put me right next to a room with a pet. I started
sneezing for my allergies. They should put the pets One area. Away from people with allergies
