I stayed at the Quality Inn & Suites in Pearl–Jackson from October 10th to the 13th. Overall, the stay was decent, and the room itself was better than many of the other places currently available in Jackson. However, there were a few issues worth noting.
First, while the bed was made up on my last night, the room was not properly cleaned during my stay — the trash and other items were left untouched for several days. That was disappointing, especially considering the rates charged that weekend.
Speaking of rates, I found that it would have been cheaper to book online. The hotel appeared to take advantage of the HBCU homecoming weekend by charging me an additional $25 per night for the first two nights. It’s understandable that rates fluctuate, but transparency and fairness matter to guests who travel often.
In short, this is a place I would consider staying at again because of its relative quality and location. However, I would definitely double-check online prices first, as it seems the hotel won’t go out of its way to help you save money if there’s an opportunity to charge more.

The rooms were incredibly dirty and they had mold on the curtains on the air conditioning unit which I could not use because of that there was stains all over the chairs inside the rooms. The bathrooms were dirty there was like you know parts of the wall missing on one of the bathrooms and when I turned on the water to try to take a shower it just filled up over and over it was it was deplorable.I had to ask three different times for a new room and finally I said give me the first room you showed me because it's the least worst room you have. It was late I traveled all and I needed to rest.

The only thing that I would take a star away for is that there was no shower gel. There was shampoo, but no conditioner. Thankfully I did have some shower gel with me that I had from a previous trip. Other than that, perfect!

They wouldn't let me check in. They said they had no record of my reservation. I should them my confirming email, they said: "Sorry". This, after a 10 hour drive. Thanks *******!
