There was an unexpected requirement of my credit card and a $50 hold placed on my account. They said it will release in 3-5 days.
I didn't know about it and they couldn't give me any paperwork showing the transaction was a hold but my credit card company immediately texted me that a $50 transaction had occurred. I will have to wait and see if it is reversed.
Also their pool was in horrible condition and hadn't been functioning for some time. The water was very green and dirty, you couldn't even see through it, it was so dark. There were no signs indicating it was out of service, but it most certainly is and has been for some time.
The room was clean, breakfast was mediocre at best. I don't believe I would have gotten much if I didn't eat at 730 am.
I wouldn't probably stay there again. There is also a non-functional, disused vending machine in the lobby entrance.
My shower had long black hairs stuck to the walls. It was not cleaned well and I don't have long hair, or black hair, so they most certainly were from the previous guest.

I called to inform them that I was going to be a late check in. However I just could continue to drive. So I called to see if I could get a refund and I was told they could not. So I’m out $100. For not making it there. I’ve been traveling from Las Vegas.

Breakfast was the same offering every day, waffle that never got crispy, scrambled eggs, sausage, Egg patty with cheese plus bread. Also had cereal but it was all the super sugar cereal. Only fruit was bananas.
Room was OK, thankful we just cared about a place to sleep.
Location was OK with relation to the Ozark National Forest but it still took over an hour to get to any of the hikes.
The area has very limited dining choices unless you like fast food. We ultimately had to drive for 30 minutes to get a decent meal.

Soccer weekend
I do not normally give reviews but I felt like I needed to today. Whenever I pulled up... I was thinking that it wasn't going to be great but that I could suck it up for one night. I was wrong. The outside and lobby isn't that nice but the hotel room (306) was clean! It didn't have a smell. It looked like a new tub had been installed and I was quite impressed! I was alone so I wasn't excited about the exterior door being outside but I asked about safety and was notified that the sheriffs office was around the corner. The front desk attendant was the same both days and she was super friendly! I'd stay again.
