Last time I visited Hickory I stayed at the Hilton and this time I stayed at the holiday inn. I will always stay at Holiday inn going forward. We had the best stay! Convenient to all locations, easy check in and out, breakfast was free and very good. Room was way larger than the Hilton one we had. Very clean. Overall a great experience!

Lots of restaurants and shops in the area. I checked in fifteen minutes early and was charged 20 extra dollars. If I had known that I would have sat in the lobby. Other than that, it was a very good experience.

We looked at several hotels in the area, on line. We picked this one based on the rating and photos. It was on the middle to higher pricing range, so were expecting it to be as nice as the photos showed. It wasn't even close. Whoever took those photos is amazing, because the hotel didn't live up to the expectation based on the listing. Never going back.

Not perfect this time.
Great hotel, best in Hickory. Not perfect this time: didn’t clean my room on one day. They just forgot. Breakfast needs to start 30 minutes earlier. Too many people have to go without getting the good food. Jelly now dispensed from large squeeze bottles: GROSS! It sits out all day every day. Touched by everyone. Yuk. Coffee machines are nice but much less convenient.

The staff was pleasant, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was larger than we expected. The breakfast was great both mornings, as was the coffee! Very clean! Will stay here again when in the area!

Best hotel in Hickory!
We always stay here when in Hickory. Convenient to shopping and many places to eat. Nice, clean hotel with very friendly staff. Fresh ground coffee anytime and good breakfast to get you going with lots of variety. Beds are super comfy!

Traveling through. The room was extremely large but it’s an old property with old furniture. Funny how it is right beside the Hickory furniture Market. Overall the stay was ok. Bed was lumpy. Bathroom outdated but the shower really had power.
