Property was is outdated and needs a makeover. Room smelt like smoke and shower handle broken. At check in there was a sign saying they would be right back that they were assisting a guest on property. I pushed the button and the receptionist on duty that night came from smoking a cigarette outside and not actually assisting a guest. Over paid for a room and facility that needs updated

This property has a lot of potential because of the location, but it is in need of some upgrades to bring it up to par. Overall, our keys didn’t work on most of the exterior doors, and one door was typically left propped open because it wouldn’t shut completely. While I generally feel safe in Stillwater, if we were staying anywhere else I would have been a little concerned about unwanted guests wandering in.
The room we stayed in had two queen beds and a sleeper sofa. In theory, it’s a really nice layout, but the extra room with the queen bed is about 15 degrees warmer than the rest of the room. In order to even be able to sleep, we had to set the AC at 62 degrees, which made it unbearably cold for the person in the bed next to the AC. Not to mention the door had been removed from this room, leaving no privacy from the rest of the room. (Tough for my wife to be able to change with our boys in the room) The bathroom did not have a fan, which turned it into a sauna which allowed for zero ventilation.
Again, seems like these issues could all be resolved, and with the location, this could become a desirable place to stay in Stillwater.

Mold in shower
First room a\c was super noisy and barely working and shower leaked so long mold was running down the wall and a dirty wet wash cloth laying in bottom of shower. Front desk moved us to another 2 bedroom where only 1 of the a/c units worked. Kids didn’t sleep well because room was too hot.

Not a good value
Room was ok but not even close to nice enough for the price. Booked a 2 room 3 queen suite. No in room coffee pot, not as clean as could be, outlets were behind head boards making it difficult to charge phones, no mirror in main bedroom.

There were no blinds on the window at all. The A/C couldn't keep up and it wasn't really hot outside. Breakfast was subpar. It's pretty run down all around and it shows it age.

The location was good, the rooms were big but very dated. Hallways smelt bad, beds were clean. Bar was kinda a joke, one night ran out of rum and next night didn’t have sprite so they make you get it out of the vending machine. There’s no real bar tender and it’s just soda bottles, dingy.

We have stayed here several times- The staff has always been very nice and helpful.. The room was clean. The hotel is so convenient to the campus, we walk everywhere- only suggestion, do not stay in room 325, it is right below the bar, very loud, moving chairs etc around.
