The room was cleaned but very old. The young man checking us in was fast but left out there was a breakfast. It was very basic but would have been nice to know. The mattresses and bed frames were very old, squeaky every time you moved an inch. The room was very small and tight four four of us. There were three towels for two people for two nights. We asked and got more but shouldn't have to ask. The toilet was loose and needed attention. Be aware that there is a Fairmont and a Fairbridge and don't get them confused. We will not be coming back.

This was a dirty hotel. Shower, bedding, towels down to the furniture. The shower went cold to scolding hot the duration of the shower. Also we got over charged for this room $306 per night which is worth much less for the lack of quality. Also there is a bathroom located right next to the food serving area within 2 feet in lobby with the door open. Also had no extra pillows or blankets when asked for them. I wouldn’t suggest this hotel to anyone.

On arrival we had dirty towels on the floor in our room, the refrigerator smelled moldy, the outside of the microwave had old dried liquid that had ran down the dial and there was crumpled up tissue on the floor under the bedside cabinet

I had a reservation for the weekend of Oct. 24 to the 27th booked. On the 23rd in the afternoon, Alaska Airlines grounded all their flights. I was supposed to fly into Portland and drive to Pullman. My flight was cancelled. Alaska wasn’t going to be able to reschedule my flight till Oct. 26th. So I was unable to take my trip at no fault to me. I started trying to call the Fairbridge from Thursday afternoon through Friday morning the 24th. No one answered my phone call until Saturday afternoon the 25th. Which then I was told too bad our policy is no cancellation no refund. Such bad customer service when I was already saddened to have to cancel my entire trip which was not my fault. The Hampton Inn accommodates and cancels reservations if it is not your fault or if you have an emergency. Stay there…they have better customer service, compassion and policies. I will never stay at Fairbridge again or ever recommend it to anyone. I talked to a desk person and was told the manager would call me back but never did. Again…very poor customer service! So they charged me for the full stay which I will be disputing.

Old and the staff was nice but the building is neglected. Staff smokes a lot and the windows don’t lock. Not good when you are on the bottom floor. Most all outlets did not work and the blow dryer was broken.

So, room was not clean….crumbs on floor, sheets and blankets very old, stains on walls, stains lots of places, pictures and description of hotel very misleading. Did not trust cleanliness enough to eat food for breakfast. Please do better! Or please adjust cost of the hotel to match the quality of the hotel.

Don’t Stay Here
Not worth the price at all. My room, the chair was broken, the lamp didn’t work and the carpets were filthy, they literally smelled dirty. The water comes out yellow in the tub/shower. I will say the room was clean from the housekeeping. The front staff was friendly so no reflection on them. The reflection of the condition of the hotel is the owners fault. A budget should be used for cleaning carpets. Fixing broken lamps and chairs along with mattresses that don’t feel like your sleeping on bricks. Will not be wasting my money staying at this hotel again.

There were no room keys due to some computer problem.
Staff was as accommodating as humanly possible, but needed to continuously run around hotel opening doors for guests
