For the price, this is an excellent value. It is an older hotel with dated bathrooms but beds are clean and staff was nice. It is across from Perkins, Chik Fil A, and a Starbucks and close to many areas for shopping and eating in Germantown.

The staff was courteous. The rooms were adequate. The exercise room was terrible. The pool which was indoors was cold. We would probably not stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is older than the looks of the outside. The front desk manager was exceptional in her service and breakfast preparation.
There is a small indoor pool. I failed to bring a swim suit. The rooms are small and the king size bed sagged in the middle. The floor is uneven and vanity mirror flashes so don’t try to use it.
The TV is anolog not digital and there is no option for connecting to your Netflix or other streaming service. So, you may want to bring your Roko device .
The price and staff made the stay. But after going downtown I think Memphis is safer than the reviews made it seem. I would visit Memphis again and may stay at the Comfort.

The first room I had, the tub was worn.. chipped paint in the tub, mats in the tub to cover the bottom of the tub and the shower was cold. Asked for another room. The tub was better and shower was hot but the room had bugs and ants..they came out in the middle of the night so you won’t see them right away, made my flesh crawl, it was not worth a $300 plus stay for two nights. The towels were dirty. I didn’t try the breakfast because my room had bugs so I wouldn’t expect the food environment to be any cleaner. Would not recommend and would not be returning.

Staff was very friendly. I did find it a little odd that staff parked under the awning and so we couldn't easily park and unload there. I thought maybe it was just the day persons choice, but the night staff did it as well. It did make me a little concerned about my car. But we had no safety concerns. We picked this hotel because it's one of the better areas on Memphis. Breakfast was a joke. A couple of bread options, cereal, oatmeal packets, and yogurt in the mini fridge. There was also biscuits with sausage gravy, but no other regular options or fruit. The bed was broken down in the middle. We struggled a lot of the night to stay off of each other in the middle.
I did give a high rating because we've stayed in several hotels in Memphis in this price range and this was the best one yet. Also, the indoor pool was open, all the others we've stayed at have been closed.

Very friendly & nice staff-loved Monica! Very helpful & pleasant. I lost ( & found it when I got home) a pink lock for a suitcase & the person on staff (manager?) offered to look for it & if found, said he'd mail it to me. Very sweet of him! Bed was very comfortable & room was clean & comfortable. Nice stay & visit for us! Thank you!

Needs cleaning
The lady at check in was very friendly and nice. The doorways are hard to get the carts thru. The room was dirty. There was hair in the tub, walls had gunk on them, and ceiling had spots. I spilt a little water in the floor between the beds. When I got a towel to clean up the water, the towel was very filthy after cleaning up.

Horrible stay
The bed was broken and the shower had no hot water. When I told the desk about it, they said they’d fix it, but what they actually did was go into my room while I was not there and didn’t know. They “fixed” the bed but didn’t fix the hot water. When I asked if they went into my room without my knowledge they said yes like it wasn’t a big deal. They also told me they could comp me 2 nights but then when I checked out told me there was nothing they could do.
