The place was extremely unpleasant. Soon we walked in the smoke smell was extreme, walked in the room it smells like old wet rotten furniture. The couch in there dirty and stinky smell. Bed sheets were torn out. I can’t believe the price I paid for this in such quality. I was not able to breathe well, the amount of dust and debris that was under the bed, unbelievable. It was late night and with children I had no choice sprayed my some of my body spray perfumes, the smell was still strong I called the front desk they do nothing. I couldn’t wait till the next morning to leave this place without of eating anything they offered. Who would eat in such dirty place?

Stopped on trip up north. Room was clean. Bed/bedding were extremely comfortable. Front desk very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good. Kitchen staff cleaning and replenishing often. Safe. Would definitely stay here again.

Just what we needed

We needed a place to stay that was convenient to food on our way home from a ten-day trip. This was perfect, and a Smithfield's only two blocks away.

I didn’t realize when I booked that they are a pet friendly hotel, that also hosts dog show participants. Our room smelled heavily of bleach. Although at first happy, thinking it was nice and clean, the smell didn’t dissipate, obviously covering something else. The bed was comfortable but the comforter was ripped. We had only one towel. We were exhausted so we didn’t contact the front desk. We should have asked for a new room right off the bat. Very disappointed because the rating for the room was 8.8 and the hotel was 8.4.
