Our room - as non smoking room - smelled terribly of smoke. Additionally, our television didn't work until the front desk attendant came up to fix it. We also didn't have a working phone, which wasn't a giant issue except when we tried to report the issue with the tv. The front desk attendant was helpful and attentive.

A roach greeted us
We just needed an inexpensive place to stay, since it had been raining and we opted to no longer camp. The guy at the front desk when we checked in was far from being friendly; despite my trying to be pleasant, he didn’t even crack a smile. In fact, I’m not sure he ever even made eye contact.
The guy the next morning at check-out was MUCH friendlier.
We had requested the second floor but were only offered a room on the ground floor. That wasn’t a big deal; but the largest turn-off for me was being greeted by a cockroach in the bathroom! That’s never happened to me in a hotel before and definitely made me wish we had chosen one of the other nearby also-inexpensive hotels instead. Oh well. We were tired and my husband just killed the roach and flushed it.
The bed was very comfortable. I also look for bedbugs and did not see any signs of them (that was a relief), but underneath the chair cushion was so dirty that I didn’t even dare sit on the chair while we were in the room.
There was also breakfast — waffles, cereal… Overall, it met our needs for a comfortable bed and roof over our heads. It was better than staying in a tent! But personally I don’t think I’d stay again.

The mattress on both beds was very worn and sagged in the middle. Neither was comfortable to sleep on.
The breakfast didn't have much to offer. Cold cereal and waffles aren't very appealing. We at some where else.

The front desk was very nice and helpful. When we entered our room the door had a white almost dust film on it. The comforter had stains on both beds. The walls were filthy. The shampoo and conditioner bottles had dirt on them. The rooms looked upgraded but needed a really good clean. We didn't check out the breakfast on fear of the condition of the food.

Disappointed
The staff was friendly enough , however the chair that was in the room was filthy the bathtub had grimy stuff in it when I stepped in it to take a shower I felt sandy stuff on the bottom of my feet , and while I was in the tub I glanced over at the toilet and it was molded up under the lip of the toilet .

Stay was overnight. Good night sleep because it was QUITE (thanks).
Might I make a suggestion? How about a note of the wi-fi password from the clerk when you check in, or leave it posted in the room.
